I think we have a teen ministry (maybe youth ministry) forum where you might want to post at Gabs. I can't sleep... I'm wondering if I should take some of my medicine to help me get to bed but at the moment I'm sitting here shoving peanut butter in my mouth by the spoonful.

I'm a little tense right now because I saw a member's name and it was rather offensive... so it kinda startled me. So now I really don't feel like going to bed heh.

Gabs, you might know, remember my past boyfriend and what happened? The name had to do with that. Idk if you'll remember.

But ya... I'll shush now. So let's talk Bible stuff

Didn’t mean in . . . it meant close to, round about, or nearby!

One Sunday, the Minister was giving a sermon on baptism and in the coarse of his sermon he was illustrating the fact that baptism should take place by sprinkling and not by immersion.

He pointed out some instances in the Bible.

He said that when John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the River Jordan, it didn't mean in – it meant close to, round about, or nearby.

And again when it says in the Bible that Phillip baptized the eunuch in the river, it didn't mean in - it meant close to, round about, or nearby. After the service, a man came up to the minister and told him it was a great sermon, one of the best he had ever heard, and that it had cleared up a great many mysteries he had encountered in the Bible.

"For instance," he said, "the story about Jonah getting swallowed by the whale has always bothered me.

Now I know that Jonah wasn't really in the whale, but close to, round about, or nearby, swimming in the water.

Then there is the story about the three young Hebrew boys who were thrown into the furious furnace, but were not burned.

Now I see that they were not really in the fire, just close to, round about, or nearby, just keeping warm.

But the hardest of all the stories for me to believe has always been the story of Daniel getting thrown into the lions’ den.

But now I see that he wasn't really in the lions' den, but close to, round about, or nearby, like at the zoo.

The revealing of these mysteries have been a real comfort to me because I am a wicked man.

Now I am gratified to know that I won't be in Hell, but close to, round about, or nearby.

And next Sunday, I won't have to be in church, just close to, round about, or nearby. thanks.

I need to do a change of mindset right now....just got off the phone with bill collectors hoping to stop the harrassment...to no avail, and now I need to go and chat with a young friend of mine in Comfort thread who's been very depressed

And believe it or not I started my day off with Prayer, my Devotions, and have had praise music on all morning.

Talking to my mom about my sister's new boyfriend didn;t help either LOL

I know, I'll go back to bed, wake up later and find the day was a dream and it'll all go away LOLOL

Hello everyone! s to you all
Please pray for me today and tomorrow (mainly today)...
I only have one day of class today, but it'll be SO BUSY. Here's just a look at my schedule:
930-1100 Poly Sci
I have a break from 1100 to 1230 in which I have to set up an appointment for registering for classes for next semester (1 class... student teaching), call Jericho HS about observing there (finally), and talk to bursar about screwing up my bill amount. Exceptional child class from 1230 to 200 and then my Invert Zoology class, which I'm a lil panicky about. He's suppose to give us a test today but things got messed up and me and 2 other Ladies can't take it today because we have a meeting to go to for student teaching. Idk if he'll MAKE us take it but I was also hoping to go home this weekend (tomorrow to Sunday) to see my parents so I wouldn't be able to make it up until Monday. I'm not even sure anybody else in class is going to be ready because we had a snowday last class so I would assume everything got put back one class too. And he never sent out emails about it, I just emailed him over the weekend and I finally got an answer about it YESTERDAY EVENING. Not very helpful. So that's what I'm stressed about.
Then 330-500 I have my Student Teaching workshop and 9pm I have Mass to get my Ashes.

Have a blessed Ash Wednesday everyone. Lord help me through this day, remind me I am Yours now and forever and that I have nothing to fear in getting through life, You are always with me. Bless me with peace today, an abundance of peace, and help me have patience to get through the day. Amen!

Politicial Science is done. I made my appointment for registration already and I studied a bit for my Invert Zoology. Do not know how well I will do but it is the first test and I am doing alright in the other assignments so I wont freak out just yet. lol Just have to kick butt on the other stuff. Now I am waiting for my next class to start at 1230... do not really like that class though because of the professor but oh well.
