Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Many often question why there is so much difference of opinion
in the comprehension of scripture. For starters, personal opinions
are common, and not holy. And yet, people often argue an opinion
supported by previous opinions that are widely accepted. This is not
only common, but it is an unclean spirit, and even in worldly wisdom
is recognized as the fallacy of appeal from authority. So how does one
get an understanding of the scriptures? Sanctification must come first.

"The knowledge of the holy is understanding."
Paul teaches directly from this Proverb.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

In my experiences on the forum, posting a thread that deals with
this topic has always resulted in at least one member lecturing me
on the need to be humble. As if to so much as quote a scripture that
mentions holiness is to act in arrogance. This too is an unclean spirit.
Especially when they have no knowledge of the sanctification involved
in pursuit of rightly dividing the Word of Truth. This is arrogance.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"
beginning=origin, the wellspring from which true wisdom flows.

Proverbs 4:7 Get wisdom first, and with all, you get understanding.

Wisdom precedes Understanding
Spiritual Wisdom has nothing to do with worldly wisdom and is
not gained by academic pursuit. It is gained by the experience
of intimacy with the Spirit of Holiness, and is a gift from above.
The complexity of this pursuit is exaggerated. Ask and Receive.

James 1:
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting,
for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea
driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive
anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

"Knowledge puffs up, charity edifies."

To avoid the pitfalls of pride, one must put aside all
self-sufficiency in seeking the wisdom from above,

and humbly ask.
2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves
to think of anything as being from ourselves,
but our sufficiency is from God.

You must be born from above to receive from above.
This is clearly contrasted by James

James 3:
13 Who is wise and understanding among you?
Let him show by good conduct his works in
the meekness of wisdom.
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking
in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom does not descend from above,
but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion
and every evil thing is there.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure,
then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield,
full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality and without hypocrisy.

You should begin to see the testimony of Truth to harmonize
scriptures, not compartmentalize them as separate
topics of discussion
or should I say argument.
"Blessed are the meek"
"meekness of wisdom"
"ask and receive"
"you must be born again from above"
"to receive wisdom from above"
"fear of God is the source of wisdom"
"fear of God perfects holiness"

1 Thessalonians 4:
7 For God does not call us to uncleanness, but to holiness.
8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man,
but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

You can reject me, but can you resist the Holy Spirit?
Ephesians 4:
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after
God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Called to holiness, chosen to be slaves of righteousness
Romans 6:
18 And having been set free from sin, you became
slaves of righteousness.
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having
become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness,

and in the end, everlasting life.

Receiving discipline as the very nature
of the covenant perfects holiness

Hebrews 12:
10 For they indeed for a few days chastened
us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit,

that we may be partakers of His holiness.
14 Pursue peace with all, and holiness,
without which no one will see the Lord.

"He who endures to the end will be saved"
1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may establish your hearts
unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father,
at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Romans 12:1-2 fit with your post too.

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
