The Joy Thread

I thought that it would be fun to have a thread where we could post the things in our day that made us joyful. Anyone who knows me personally will tell you that it doesn't take much to make me happy and that once I am. . .well, I'm a completely different person. I'll go around work or the house singing, smiling, dancing, and beaming on everyone. So I decided that since a joyful heart is a good thing, that maybe we could all share what makes us happy.

First, I got contact lenses yesterday. I've wanted them for a loooong time. I am so excited!!!!

Second, I've been doing super boring cashier work this week. . .today, I learned how to run the service desk. I was so incredibly joyful all day th I even got funny looks! I bounced around with a smile on my face. . .

On Monday, classes start again! I've been waiting for them to restart for a long time! I miss school!

How good God is to give us joy in our lives. Can you imagine a life devoid of feeling joy or happiness?

Yes, I think happiness can be contagious and give more opportunities to share about our Lord!

For me, today is moving day! I'm selling my house and today my son is moving me into a wonderful apartment that looks over a pond with a huge fountain! I am so excited! I bought a cherry red sofa and plan to make the place colorful and to have a wonderful time decorating and making it cozy for me and little Tommy dog! God is so very good to me!

Pray that these bones hold up to todays challenge! When I come home from church the move begins! Yea!
