Though she held her eyes tightly shut, she could still see her daddy&#8217;s fists pounding on her mother&#8217;s body. The hellish sounds had long since ceased, but still rang in her ears as did her mother&#8217;s pleas for mercy.

It looks like you are trying to copy off a website. Sometime if you are trying to copy and paste off a website, the text appears inside a textbox. So when you try to copy the whole page on the website, and then try to paste, just the box appears without the words. You have to try and highlight the words inside the box before copying, if that is the case. What website are you copying from?
