  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

AM I the only one who watches this 60s SCi Fi Series. Please let me know I'm not alone.

For the time it was made the effects were pretty impresive. I used to watch it on Sunday morning TV and was hooked. I now have both seasons on DVD and I am watching them on my portable DVD player during my Comute in each morning.

"The invaders, alien beings from a dying planet, their destination, the earth, their goal, to make it their world. David Vincent has seen them, for him it began on a lone country road looking for a shortcut he never found. It began with a closed, deserted diner and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey. It began with the landing of craft from another galaxy. Now he must convince a disbalieving world that the nightmare has already begun."

The Invaders was a favorite of mine when I was growing up. First Wave had a bit of "The Invaders" feel to it, just updated for today's audience.
