I'm not trying to start a holy war here, but I've had to go back more than once and edit a post because I thought I was talking to an atheist, only to find out he's an agnostic, or Buddhist, or even a theistic evolutionist.

It's disgusting --- I can't tell you guys apart.

I missed this post, but why on earth is it disgusting? There are several different faiths here, but the reason you can't tell people apart is because most people don't use their faith to blinker reality. It doesn't matter if we're athiest, buddist, christian or something else, we all see the same reality.

Flat Earth? Nonsense. The Greeks disproved that notion long before the Christians came about. You can get the credit for espousing a host of other archiaic, outdated, obsolete, and just plain mistaken ideas, tho. Geocentricism, anyone?

As for Rome, it's more or less common knowledge that Nero scapegoated the Christians (Anyone notice how "scapegoat" rhymes with "Swiftboat"?), most likely to hide his own involvement with the arson.
