i cannot be transparent. i did nothing wrong but i am uncomfortable if all my peers(if that is the right word) are sisters not brothers. i can't even post what is wrong or it will lead to trouble even though i did nothing wrong. im not even able to talk to a lot of guys now. i maybe later will avoid a lot of people for a while and it is not because i hate anybody.
Hi sfw!JoshuaM,
I am new to this thread and hope I am not overstepping the line here. I don't know what all is going on with you, but I must tell you that isolation is such a big mistake. Believe me, I've been there. I'm still paying the price for some ill-made decisions in that area. I isolated myself out of extreme hurt; felt completely abandoned and unwanted by the church, etc. Yes, there were people I needed to get away from, but I should have looked at going towards some other people. I just didn't know how at that time. Now I do.
Please, cling to God and let Him show you the right way to handle this. God bless you.
I haven't seen him. He could just be too busy to get online. Let's keep praying for him.JoshuaM, how are u today? anyone seen JoshuaM? i hope he's doing better.. man i really really hope he ll open up to someone at least.. its definitely a bad idea clamming up!

It's quiet because we were all doing something! I was in church when you posted. I know what a letdown it can be when you are there and no one else is. I've had times like that. Then there are times when there is so much I can't keep up!Argh why is it so quiet in the inner room today.. i miss criada, and BM, and Allforjesus, and greenthumb, and cindy.....![]()

Worship Him in this way.
1. Exclusively.
Let all your affections be turned to him. Find pleasure in Him alone, not any other source. Don't turn to anything else for comfort.
2. Passionately.
Worship Him with all that is in you. Be fervent. Bring the sacrifice of praise to Him.
3. Courageously.
It's going to show. Others will notice when you adore Jesus above all. Some will be blessed, and join you, and others may ridicule you Be strong and courageous. Worship Him, hold fast to Him, in the face of anything. He will support you. He will be your strength.
Waiting on God. Sometimes, when we pray, God asnwers our prayers right away. Other times, we may have to wait on God. Often we don't like to wait, but here are three ways it can be good.As we wait on God, let us tell Him we love Him and express our trust in Him as our loving heavenly Father. He knows what is best for our lives!
- It can teach us to focus on God and His character, not just the result of our prayers.
- It can teach us to be patient and build our trust; we can express our faith as we wait on Him.
- It can remind us that God's ways are better and higher than ours, and that He knows best how and when to answer our prayers.
We are instructed in the Bible to not cause anyone to stumble by our eating. I run into this at times because I eat a very restricted diet too. I deal with it like this. I let them know it is necessary for health reasons for me to do this. Also, at times, I do eat things I would not normally when the Spirit of God quickens me to do so. I won't die from going off the wagon one time! But it is the Lord who showed me how to eat, and He makes a way for me to do so. It may not be this way if I had chosen a fad diet of my own accord.i have the most problems with the last one.. when i have my meals with my friends who are mostly non believers they always notice the way i eat and i think thats wehn im really not showing Christlikeness properly, or at all. i usually dont eat carbs. over here the typical meal wud be rice, meat and vegetables. and my friends wud always ask why i dont have rice on my plate. thats when i think i really make them stumble.. im showing them that i think im fat and so, they might know i have an issue with self esteem. i dont know wat to do about this.. sometimes i try to avoid eating with them at all, but this is hard to do at campus, where i always stick around with friends.

Thank you for this beautiful post. I've been reflecting on the sacrifice of praise and what that means to me. (I also just read your other post on this.) So often I get caught up in my day to day concerns that it feels like a sacrifice to pause, focus on Jesus, and give him praise.
A few of days ago, I woke up early. I snuggled back in bed when I felt this nudging to read the bible. I tried to ignore it but then I heard the words, "be obedient" in my spirit. Reluctantly, I got up and read the bible. It was one of my most spirit-filled bible readings I've ever had. It was a sacrifice, I wanted to sleep, but God wanted me to walk the extra mile to spend time with Him. The outpouring of spirit was so remarkable that now, days later, I'm still in awe.
I had never heard that that praise could be a sacrifice before, but it makes perfect sense to me. Thank you CindyisHis.
