Hi to All!

I haven't posted here in ages (well, a couple of weeks...).

I've been feeling .....a little depressed and under the weather. Fighting a cold than developed into a sinus infection. All this on the heels of another cold that developed into bronchitis. It seems l've been sick since October when I had strep throat that lasted several weeks.

I always used to be so healthy and vibrant. Now, I feel depleted and....wiped out. My kids complain that all I do is complain about being too tired or sick. I know I'm sick and tired of hearing me complain!

My heart is heavy right now. I'm not being a responsive mother or wife or friend. I feel guilty and unproductive. I would love some prayer for healing. I feel I need healing at multiple levels - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Thank you.

Dear Ralangley, of course we will pray for you.
In the meanwhile, have you seen the doctor? From what you've wrote, you seem to be getting progressively worse. It could be something more than just a cold.
Sometimes chronic illness can run you down and cause depression, too. If your children have noticed, something is up. Please tell your doctor about it, 'k?
Until then, lots of chicken soup, bed rest with warm covers and big hugs from all of us!

Hello everyone... how is everyone today?

I need advice. As always. Now that I'm surrounded by many unbelievers in a new school I am at a loss. Firstly I'm really petrified when it comes to sharing about Jesus, because I'm so afraid of what they would think. It's a lame excuse though. So I'm wondering if you were in my place, how would you share His love in a non threatening manner?

I was thinking about just establishing relationships with them first, and shine for Jesus so that they see. But I only spend a small number of hours with them at lectures or tutorials. So how? I dont wanna leave this school not talking about Jesus to anyone. That would suck so bad.

Take some time to settle in, sweetie! Get to know people, make friends! And they will see Jesus in you! We can - and we don't see you in 'real life'! Keep loving people and serving them, and they will ask! And pray for them - ask God to tell you who to talk to. He will!!
St Francis said "Witness at all times. If neccessary, use words."

Our biggest witness is the way we live! Because you are a new creation - and that shows! People don't understand it, but they see it. God has given you the righteousness of Christ - and as long as you stick close to Him, He will be glorified in your life!

So - don't worry!
Just enjoy getting to know people, and wait to see what God will do.
