I was actually going to add that this isn't really helping the misconception most people have of indie/emo guys being gay/bisexual.

I wasn't aware of the stereotype that indie boys were all gay/bi. I know that the scene isn't a notorious breeding ground for conservatives, but I thought that there would be just as many queers as anywhere else, and maybe a little more.

I'd hate to break this whole indie/gay discussion up, but the new Why? album, Elephant Eyelash is really, really good. Like really good. Much better than the Pitchfork review makes it out to be.

For the record, Why? was the solo project of one of the guys from cLOUDDEAD, but has now come to encompass him and his entire band. He's released some other material, but this is the first thing that is really striking.

Jacob (not the Theory), I've got a few mp3 cds full of more stuff to keep you busy all packaged up and ready to go. Now I just have to remember to mail them out. Hopefully tomorrow.
