What about me? Can I pout? I live just outside of Philly; I get minimal good shows throughout the year and am too far away to go to Intonation. Life sucks.

And in other news: I just downloaded the new Castanets album, What Kind of Cure (it leaked on soulseek), and I must say, it is very good. At least, that's my initial reaction to the new material; if it's anything like the last record, it will probably grow on me a lot more too.

Wait a tick...unless I'm missing something, Arnold_Philips' profile says he's from Texas. Wouldn't the indie capital of America be in the Northwest, or even NYC?

And Phil, you get little sympathy from me...you get plenty of good shows in PA.

Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world... I'm not sure who made that up (probably the Austin tourism lobby), but we do have a whole lot of good live music nearly 7 days a week.

You're probably right. I just never make it to any. All the good shows are on days that I'm busy. It's a really sad irony.
