Yes, twice. When I was four I was playing on top of a dresser that was being kept in an unfinished room, and I fell off and a nail sticking out of the floor missed my eye by less than a quarter of an inch. There was so much blood running out of it that my mom passed out when she saw it. I had to get seven stitches, and I still have a scar by my eye.
When I was 10, we were remodeling our house and someone dropped a claw hammer on my head. I only needed a couple stitches that time, and I don't think it scarred. At least I hope not, because I'm shaving my head at the first sign of baldness.
There was a third time when I should have gotten stitches, but I didn't. It was very late at night and I was cutting a block of very hard cheese for a midnight snack. I cut toward myself (the Boy Scouts should revoke my Eagle Scout rank, lol) and the knife slipped and cut into the muscle on my right forearm. Like I said, I should have gone to the hospital for stitches, but since it was so late and I was very tired, I just stuffed the wound full of gauze, wrapped it up, and went to bed. The scar from that is 2 inches long and a half an inch wide.
