The critics used the quote without the context to show what it actually does not say.

As to your question...the quotes says 'Satan appears to be by the throne'. 'Appears to be' can be 'pretends to be'. That is in a spiritual sense because those are obviously not physically praying before the throne in heaven.

I did verify the quotes and answered your question on the SDAs worship at Satan's throne. Is that what you were asking?

I am not ruling out arguing against it. But so far I have just provided actual Ellen White quotes, from the actual Ellen White estate endorsed site talking about some of the importance of it.

I don't think posting what Ellen White said would be overly helpful either, if you want to avoid awkward conversations. But she is quite an expert on why it was important to the church.

You seem to think it is important. But you don't seem to know why. Why not listen to why she thought it was?
