The Immaculate Conception of Mary

Many believe that Christ would not die had we/God in his plan not killed him. Your thoughts?

It has sometimes been said among the Church Fathers that even if Adam and Eve had not sinned and brought death into the world, that we still would have had the incarnation of Christ because of God's love for man.

I see. I guess I was thinking that Christ would have set up his kingdom on earth and all would be happy for a thousand years and forevermore. But I guess if you look at his situation fatalistically, then Mary would have the same "problem". Thanks for the replies
