CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That opposition Toney speaks of is true, and has followed all the way to the EU constitutional debate of including God in its preamble. Now we are told Catholicism is cultural heritage and nothing more so the constitution doesn't have to mention Him. Have to go to work...see ya later guys!

It sort of makes sense now why all those gay men hit on me in the gym. I'm being serious here. I have mentioned how when I told my one aunt about my calling to the priesthood she told my brother and parents that I was gay and a pedophile which isn't true (and I have the psychological exam to prove it!) -- but ever since that "blow out" with ma Tante Helene, these homosexual men have come out of the woodwork (I'm waiting for DefenseorFidei to post another pic of that guy from Queer Eye for the Str8 Guy) and I really think it is demonically induced in order to tick me off since Satan is good at trying to reduce your self-esteem and slander you in any way possible.Christy4Christ said:
