"Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when [Luke 15:24] the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who [John 6:60; hear will live.

John 5:28
"Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,

John 7:30
So they were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

John 8:20
These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.

John 12:23
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

John 12:27
"Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

John 13:1
Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

John 16:2
"They will make you outcasts from the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God."

John 16:32
"Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for [Zech 13:7; Matt 26:31] you to be scattered, each to [John 19:27] his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

John 17:1
Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You,

John 19
13 Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and (17) sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Pavement, but (18) in Hebrew, Gabbatha.
14 Now it was
(19) the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the [2](20) sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, "Behold, (21) your King!"
15 So they cried out, "
(22) Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar." 16 So he then (23) handed Him over to them to be crucified.

John 20
9(They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)

"bump" means I bumped the threat to the top of the forum. When I moved it in, it was placed towards the bottom of the page based on the date of your original post. I wanted to be sure that everyone had a chance to see it, so I bumped it to the top.

You dont seem to be offering any comment concerning "hour", so perhaps I could add this
Some use of "hour" both in the gospels and in Revelation appear to be refferring to the last moments of life on this earth as we know it. Once when I was considering this I thought a literal hour was not relevant from what was being spoken of so I applied the divine time equation: "To the Lord a day is as 1000 years" When this is broken down an hour becomes as (about) 40 years. Now forty years seemed more appropriate to the events mentioned in Revelation. I wonder if any others see it this way?

I don't take 2 Peter 3.8 literally becasue it uses a simile--a comparison using "like" or "as". So I think it would be a mistake to make a mathematical equation out of it. Now if it say a day = 1000 years, then that would be different.

2 Peter 3:8
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Isn't it wonderful to know that believers will come to understand that it is not the place that is significant but that you worship the Father that is significant. Believers will come to the point where they will gather together in spirit and in truth and worhip the Father. Jesus doesn't want the worship, He wants us all to worship the Father.

Let us not be like so many who when they hear his voice will just roll over in the grave and go back to sleep, because the next time He calls...things have changed considerably.

Any themes that you see. The hour for the most part is about Christ death.
