  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Do dispensationalists believe the holocaust of the Jews in WW2 was prophesied in scripture?

No. We believe that the prophesied suffering of the Jews will be in their own land, and is still future.

This dispensational does not believe so. But the question is still a valid question.

The AD 70 crowd don't seem to know about the Second Revolt, 65 years after the Temple at Jerusalem was destroyed. Another 450,000 Israelites were killed by the Romans. The Jews have suffered greatly for 2,000 years and perhaps this is due to their unbelief (some would say that they have absolutely suffered in all things because of their unbelief).

The WWII Holocaust is not specifically mentioned or inferred in the Bible, as far as I've ever been able to determine. Yet I think we have to admit that they have paid dearly for their rejection of Christ, and this has come long before any specific seven year period of tribulation still in the future.

Hi DD:

Interesting. I thought that you guys may point out a scripture about that as it happened on such a massive scale.

The OT Prophets cannot prophesy about things 'hidden in God,' which includes EVERYTHING inside this 2000 Year Mystery Time shaded in red:

Note how the OT Prophets see over this 2000 Year Mystery Time, but they see very well into the upcoming 1000 Year Day of the Lord shaded in blue:

This diagram shows how the opening books of Revelation correspond to the parables in Matthew 13 concerning the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven. The OT Prophets see 'those things' very well, but nothing at all about our gospel (#2) our mystery church (#2), nor our mystery translation to immortality (1Cor. 15:51-53, 1Thes. 4:15-17).

The only prophet to see inside this current 2000 Year Mystery Time (in red again) ...

... is the Apostle Paul ...

In Christ Jesus,

Terral
