The Hedge

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Eze 22:30 (KJV)

God continues to search for such men. Men of true integrity that can stand strong and hold their position. Men covered in meekness and humilty. Just as our soldiers protect our physical bodies and lands, we need Godly men willing to devote their lives to protect our spiritual bodies and lands. Watchmen, selflessly making up and protecting the spiritual hedge that surrounds all of God's people worldwide. Men from all denominations, standing in the gaps of doctrinal division, united and bound together by Christ's love for His bride. Men supporting one another, caring for one another, holding one another accountable. Men called by God to live their lives on their knees for those whom they love through Christ.
If God is calling you to make up the hedge and stand in the gap please respond.

Reading your post makes me envy for such a calling. By the way, may I ask you why you are looking for such a person? Do you have words for him?

I may be inquiring about something that I cannot understand yet. If so, please ignore my post.

Dear iktca,

I believe God continually calls many of His children to such a ministry as the hedge, therefore I am looking for many not just one.
I do believe God has called me to share what He has given me regarding "the hedge".
Never stop trying to seek His will for your life. Seek after it just as you would search for the bounty after you have been given the treasure map. I tell you the truth, your spirit will not find rest until your will is one with His. Don't ever settle for what the world has to offer, only the real thing will truly quench your thirst.
Read The Word and pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal His will regarding the hedge and your involvement. If He is calling you He will not allow this to pass from you. Feel free to email me or post. I am intentionally being somewhat vague because I do not want to interfere with what God may be saying to you. I will pray God gives you clarity.

Thanks for your kind explanation. I understand it a little better. By the way, you did not answer my other question: why are you looking for them? Do you have words from God for them? I guess I am as curious as a cat.

God has called me to seek out these men and give them what little I have, the rest is up to Him. So the answer to your question is yes, I do have words for them.

If you have words for them, please let me hear them. Once I hear the words and see if the words apply to me, then I will know know that I received the calling that you are reckoning as "putting the hedge." If not, I will not ask another question.

But if you think the words are too precious to be shared with those who are not called, refrain from it. I will keep my peace.

Thank you for your request. Please allow me a moment to explain why my post is somewhat vague.
Firstly I was very hesitant to post anything at all regarding the hedge. The Lord laid a wonderful picture of it on my heart sometime ago and due to the impression it left on me I felt it best to approach those He would also call quite personally. It certainly is nothing new or weird in any way, it is just something I believe requires a calling from Our Father. The Lord has impressed upon my heart the need for discernment, and I am trying to accomplish His desires the best way I can. My hope is that what I have posted will call Deep unto Deep. If you feel a further desire to know more I would ask that we may email privately. I wish in no way to be secretive, especially with my fellow believers, but I must follow what I believe to be His instructions. If you have reservations emailing please suggest alternative forms of private correspondence.
