I'd say we have our reasons -- just like you guys do.

But we don't just sit around and speculate and guess based on our musings over a series of old theological books. We go out and study nature directly. That is why science produces results we can see and smell and touch... and creationism produces nothing by armchair philosophers and an irrational resentment of science and scientists.

But without guessing what do you have? We are aware that organisms adapt, bacteria remaining bacteria, the incompetence of random mutation, the limits of adaptation and an adaptation feature encoded in DNA. The Darwinist's plea then, is to ignore everything after "organisms adapt", just forget about it, and adopt Darwinism. If you acknowledge them, or even interpret texts according to these facts, then you're called a creationist. Let them guess.

. Oh, the part after "We are aware that organisms adapt" right? You Darwinists man.

Then you speculate and guess.

Why do you think we have five theories about our moon?

I'm not harping on science that produces results, I'm harping on science that produces speculation against the stories in the Bible.

Five? You think Five is a lot, do you? How many demoninations of Christianity are there? LOL!

You are harping on science that conflicts with your own armchair speculations based on your erroneous interpretations of scripture. You pick and choose from science the way you pick and choose from the Bible. Not really surprising... is it? In neither case do you let expertise (either human or divine) steer you away from what you want to believe.

You don't think "hanging toes" on pigs is a misnomer?

What will they say next?

That their snout is really a proboscis?

You are side stepping the point. The particular hanging appendages, regardless of what you call them, are identical in morphology to hooves. The function of hooves on all ungulates, as evidenced by the denser material they are composed of, are to make contact with the ground and resist wear. Human beings improve upon them with horses when we make horseshoes.

By the way, if you look at primitive horses in the fossil record, they had hanging hooves. As a matter of fact, the modern horse still has them, but they are now inside the skin (called splint bones). Periodically, modern horsed are born where the splint bones are actual hanging hooves. Julius Ceasar owned one of these horses. Biologists call these features ativisms.

best,

I don't think God works with Snap-on parts.

Evolution might, but not God.
