  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The U2 (and many DMB posts) got me thinking about Steve Lillywhite and the greatness which is he.
So lets talk about him. This thread can give us a chance to talk about the albums he has produced, and the bands he has worked with.

First off, does anyone know where I can find a complete list of the albums he has produced?

I never knew Steve Lillywhite worked with DMB, I don't know anything about this band and I wouldn't know any of their songs. But since there is a U2 connection :D could anyone recommend me a few DMB songs or album to try out?

Oh.. And I was just watching the making of the Joshua Tree dvd so I thought I'd post a pic of Lillywhite :)

DMb albums to check out:

Those bolded ones are my top 4, some good recommendations!

I think the killer of all DMB albums is Live at Central Park.
