Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, soul and mind, with all our being, with all that we have, with all that we are, we are His He created us, we only love Him with what He's given us.
He gave us life, what better way to live by than by the One who created all.
The problem i think today with Christians, those who call themselves Christians and those who are most certainly are not Christians is they all claim to have love.
they all live by the second commandment love one another as ourselves, well most claim to.
i think the message today is spread as if this is the most important message, it is important, but there is one much more important than this and i beleive you can't really do the second with out the first.
the first comes before the second, i think people today seem to forget this.
not that i'm against loving one another, but the way it is done as if it's more important than loving God.
people reject the whole God, they say the old testament God can't be true for He's not loving.
nobody goes to hell because that would be unloving.
they think we today are more loving than God and we are fit to judge His love.
it's not enough that He sent His son to die for us, what do they think He died for, if there's no hell and we all have love then why isn't earth heaven.
if God doesn't punish the wicked and no one goes to hell, then what did Christ die for.
if our sins are forgiven anyway, or are we not sinners, they seem to think even those who don't love God will go to heaven, if God cast out satan an angel, why would He let a human in who has no respect for Him.
none of us have love until we crucfy our lives through Christ, not having to physically die for He did this for us, but laying down our lives so we can be born again of spirit, receiving the love of God and putting to death the love of the world which we once lived by.
if we don't love God first then we can't possibly love one another, for love is of God without God we only have the love of the world.
when we're born again through Christ we then live through the love of God wanting the same for others.
why can't people today see that God is the one in charge who we all answer to.
there's no evil with God, God is not a man that He can sin, sin is going against God, evil is sin, only a man can do evil.
a loving and just God punishes the wicked, if there's no punishment for the wicked then what divides the good from the wicked.
the wicked can be saved, but not by carrying on in wickedness, but by crucifying their wicked lives through Christ.
we answer to God, not the other way round.
