He does not rejoice in their fall, but laments in the depths of heaven’s courts.
His heart is pierced by every soul lost to darkness,
Yet His mercy stands open, waiting, calling.
He understands our pain, our prayers, our tears,
For the souls who turned away, yet remain precious to Him forever.
His justice is perfect, His love unending.
In this mystery, we rest:
That the Lord both mourns and holds hope,
That none may be lost without the sound of His sorrowful cry.
