  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As you know Father-God is judging the Kingdom of Devils for their crimes committed in Heaven and their crimes committed against His children, namely ALL OF MANKIND in all generations. "We are surrounded by a cloud of Witnesses", Hebrews 12:1. And WE (you) sit in the Outer Court and some of us are also witnesses in the proceedings. A judge must "HEAR ALL CHARGES AND WITNESS STATEMENTS"! He cannot be timid and frightened by devils' words. He cannot hide from what they say like a shrinking violet! You know WHO the devil is and you know he is extremely vile! "We shall judge men and fallen angels"! That line needs a qualifier! Those witnesses who are not afraid to "hear the proceedings" and do not run away because devils are very cruel and extremely foul, will see how Father-God JUDGES the Powers of Darkness . So if I show you what is going on in Court, do not be offended. Have no fear!

Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: 21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

John 5:22 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

(The Father isn't the judge, the Son is the judge)

23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel

(God will judge men by JESUS CHRIST according to Pauls Gospel of Grace. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith)

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

(The Son, is the Agent by Whom the Father works within our universe. The Son of God is PREEMINENT in all things within our universe: Creation, redemption, resurrection, regeneration, preservation & judgment of all things within our created universe)

How do you factor in these Words?

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Isaiah 26:12 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

May I suggest an area of study for you, the subject of "ONENESS with God". Peace!

Just in case some are getting depressed and have feelings of condemnation in reaction to the OP, I need to say that we have an advocate in heaven, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the believers' Judge. The wonderful thing about Jesus being our Judge; He is also our defence lawyer! What an encouragement to our faith and confidence. What courtroom on earth has a defendant's defence lawyer being the judge at the same time? The case would be open and shut wouldn't it, and acquittal would be guaranteed! So, because Jesus is our Judge and defence lawyer, we are automatically acquitted when we stand before Him in the Judgment!

How would you factor these?
John 14:20 Jesus said; At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Does this mean I'm the Father also? Or that I'm the Son? Or that I'm both?

I think that Jesus is talking about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is physically at the right hand of the Father advocating for us. He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with our spirit, so that "Christ in you, the hope of glory" can be a reality. The Holy Spirit so represents Jesus in us that it is equivalent to having Jesus in us. This is how we can develop Christ-like conduct. Jesus did say that the Father, and the Son will all come and dwell within us. But I don't think that is a physical union between the three members of the Godhead and us. It is not a symbiotic relationship as seen in science fiction. When we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us, it is the equivalent of having all three in us, such as the absolute unity of their nature, character, and intention.
