Matt. 26:28 - for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.
Heb. 10:12 - but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD,
Rom. 3:23-26 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Rom. 5:8-11 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Cor. 15:3 - For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
1 Pet. 2:24 - and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
These are the verses I found after a really quick search that push me in the direction of believing as I do. If there is some indication that I am getting from them the wrong conclusion, I'd be open to hear about it.
