What is the author's "conclusive evidence?" In fact clicking on your link beings up a description of the book which doesn't say what the evidence is, but does include this: "To some extent this book can be considered a summation of the Flat Earth Society's years of work to convince the world's scientific community and public." You have often said that you don't support the Flat Earth Society.

I notice you’ve posed this question numerous times. I also notice that not once has any flat earther explained it in terms of how it could be if the earth is flat.

That means it’s a question they just ignore, because the answer is the earth is a globe. It’s the only way it can work, End of.

Yeah, that’s because flat earth is not a reasoned thing. It’s all based on belief and feelings, not objective evidence of the physical world around us.

As I’ve said before, flat earth belief is a tiny minority fringe cult at the very edge of Christianity.

One of the reasons I have stayed on this topic for so long is that I enjoy all of the ways people have proven the earth is a globe. I think it is close to 30 now. The other reason is trying to understand what the attraction is to the flat earth theory. There are many things in Christian theology that are not rational that have to be accepted on faith, but a flat earth is not one of them. Maybe it is a bit like veganism. You can’t talk to a vegan for more than about ten minutes without them declaring their practice. I have nothing against veganism, but I always get the impression that the foundation is being different and “special.” Maybe, that is the case with flat earth people. With about 8 billion people in the world, the desire to be different is very strong.
