why do tides go in and out, when he magnetic north pole is always magnetic?

So to explain tides, you have to assume the existence of a magnetic rock, a giant salt-water whirlpool, the North Pole being at the centre of the earth, and water being affected by magnetism. None of these things fits with observation, and none of them is mentioned in the bible.

That is the most confused bunch of nonsense and myths I have ever seen. First of all, one can measure the tide in lakes. Second, many of the maps shown are of a spherical earth. Third, all of the map makers in the video were basing their maps on stories and guesswork. They were describing places where nobody had ever gone at the time and returned to tell about it. Fourth, the whirlpools described are all around Nordic countries, and they are indeed deadly but do not exist at the North Pole. To believe any of this, you would have to fall back on the idea that all of the people who has gone to the North Pole were liars.
