CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You don't simply quote God's word, you pile your own private interpretation on top of it. All the ancient heresies quoted God's word. Your false beliefs are no different.

What??? Again you misread the context. I said you accused Byrd of lying without evidence or proof. That’s bearing false witness.
I never said or even implied you accused God of lying. So why accuse me of saying such a thing?
And note how you’ve now gone from defending Byrd (when he never said what you claimed) to accusing him!!!

No one simply quotes Scripture. They all attach the baggage of their particular interpretation. Some Scriptures can be understood multiple different ways which can all be acceptable. Some interpretations are clearly wrong.

And once again, check before you accuse.
You brought Admiral Byrd into the argument so sure of using him to bolster your flat earth claims. So sure were you that you challenged somebody, who wasn’t accusing Byrd of lying, to prove he was lying.
But it turns out everything Byrd said in that interview was in the context of Antarctica being a continent.
Now you accuse him of lying. And you’re the only one here who has done so!
Well if you had checked the context of what he was saying beforehand you would have known that he was talking about Antarctica as a continent and not gotten yourself into yet another quagmire of your own making!
