Well, here are verses 8 & 9 from Job 38:

““Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb; When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band;” (Job 38:8-9 NKJV)

You seem to be claiming the words are literal. So you presumably believe that the sea issued from a literal womb, that it wears literal garments, that it has a literal swaddling band.

But why? God does not say to Job that the doors of the sea are a wall made of ice, or that He only makes barriers for the sea around Antarctica, so what biblical reason can you give for believing that He meant a huge ice wall around Antarctica?

It’s not a literal reading. We’ve talked about poetic and non literal verses but you still insist in a literal reading of a verse that it is clearly not literal.

For example:

Does God have wings and feathers? Is He going to give you a shield and a buckler to defend His truth?

Follow your responses to my post. You said that in God’s word He is a bird because the Bible says so. So then the logical conclusion of your interpretation is that Jesus is indeed man and bird since Jesus is fully man and fully God.

The walls are the doors which stop the seas bursting forth. The only doors I know of would be Antarctica's iced walls that keeps the seas at bay.
Unless you know of any more doors that might do this.

Unless you know of any more doors that might do this.

So, if it is not in scripture then you are merely reading your belief into scripture. People have proven many parts of the Bible true because of science but people have not seen or proven a 25000 mile wall of ice even though we have explored every continent including Antarctica, Why do you think that is?

Most are looking in the wrong place instead of looking for the continent of Antarctica (which BTW doesn't exist) they should be looking on the utter outskirts for the ring of Antarctica.

So why does not God mention that the "doors" only hold in the sea around Antarctica? That's even assuming that there are ice walls around Antarctica. The bible doesn't mention them, and explorers haven't seen them.
