  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

^_^ ^_^ ^_^ Its my fourth this year!

I remember getting such bruised ribs - we were sitting at my wifes aunts wedding and one of her cousins (who was recently married) was saying he was finding it really tough. I replied yeah the first year is the worst! I think Nicola's elbow broke the sound barrier as it hit my ribs!

Hope you have lovely first year of marriage! :)

Does anyone know of anywhere that does mass during the week? Preferably in the west end? The chapel nearest me only does mass on a Saturday night and sunday morning.
Sorry, I tried to find any, but no luck - hopefully someone else will know?

Glasgow University Chaplaincy had mass on weekdays at 1.05pm during the last academic year.

According to their website, http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/chaplaincy/worship.htm
mass is held in Turnbull Hall, 15 Southpark Terrace, where Fr John Keenan the Roman Catholic Students Chaplain is based.

Turnbull Hall
Sunday Masses:
Vigil Mass - Saturday 6.15 Sunday 11.30 and 6.15pm
Holydays 12.05,1.05 and 5.05
Weekday Masses 1.05 daily.
Additional Mass at 12.05 during Lent

It could well be a sign!!!!! Thank you to both of you for checking for me :) Any chance you can take away the rain and clamminess while you are at it? I'm off at the weekend and would like some nice weather!!
Hmm, haven't found anything about weather control on the internet yet, but I bet it's out there! LOL!
