I hear the Shack nightclub burnt to the ground the other day. Pity. After the Scotland/Hungary game me and my mate stayed in there til 4 am. We had no where to go until 6am so we could get the morning train home.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well done to the emergency services for keeping things under control most of the day, they were still there when i was walking home from work around half past 6 this evening, the place is gutted apparently and its thick smoke n very smelly around central glasgow still !
glad nobody was hurt though thank you god !

We get off pretty lightly as far as downpours go. I've been in some tropical rainstorms before, now that is rain for you.astral_acrobat said:

theyre selling normal size teddy bears all over the shop at the moment during the christmas period, i think theyre for christmas but benjamin comes with a brown and white stripey bed hat. the benjamin bear that hugged me was a member of staff there i think, may even have been one security i dont know but it might be one of your old work colleaguesButtermilk said:Who is Benjamin Bear?
