THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 9

While I was studying world history Jesus revealed to me that when the Jews began returning to Jerusalem after WW I, in 1920, which was halted in 1939 and then resumed after WW II, are part of the fulfillment of the restoration of Israel described in Dan 9.

When the angel Gabriel told Daniel in Dan 9:22: “I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding”, he was telling him that he had come to give him understanding of the vision that he had seen previously and recorded in Dan 8, that according to Dan 8:27 astounded him and he wanted to understand it, but there was no one to explain it to him.
Dan. 8:27 Then I, Daniel, was exhausted and sick for days. Then I got up again and carried on the king’s business; but I was astounded at the vision, and there was none to explain it.

When Dan 8:19 states: And he said, "Behold, I am going to let you know what will occur at the final period of the indignation, for it pertains to the appointed time of the end, it is telling us that the vision in Dan 8 pertains to the end of the end times and this means that when Gabriel told Daniel in the vision in Dan 9 that he had come to give him understanding, he was telling him that he had come to give him understanding of the end times.

In Dan 9:24, Gabriel told Daniel that the vision he had seen in Dan 8 and the events he was about to share with him, pertain to the decree to put an end to sin, bring in everlasting righteousness and seal up prophecy in Jerusalem, which we know is completed when Jesus begins reigning from Jerusalem for a 1000 years. Dan. 9:24-26 tells us this time period is labeled 70 weeks and that it is divided into a 7 week period of time, a 62 week period of time and a 1 week period of time.
Dan. 9:24 “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place. 25 “So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. 26 “Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.

We know the 70 weeks described in Dan 9:24 are symbolic because the Jews have been restoring Jerusalem for more than 92 years and because the 2300 days described in Dan 8:13-14 that lapse between the time the Antichrist first arises and Jesus begins reigning for a 1000 years from Jerusalem, which is part of the restoration of Jerusalem, is longer than 70 weeks.
Dan 8:13-14 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “ How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?” 14 He said to me, “For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be properly restored.”

Is 4:2 tells us sin will end in Jerusalem when the 1000 years begins because it explains that the only people who will be in Jerusalem at that time will be those whose names are found written in the Book of Life.
Is. 4:2 In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel. 3 It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy — everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem.

Dan 9:25 tells us that the 70 weeks began when God decreed the restoration of Israel when it states: “So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.

Luke 19:44 tells us the restoration of Israel described in Dan.9, is the result of Israel being dispersed because they did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah. This was fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed the temple and dispersed the Jews.
Luke 19:44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

One day as I was studying world history Jesus revealed to me that the seven weeks described in Dan 9:25 began after WW I on April 25, 1920 when the Balfore Declaration was made part of the the Treaty of Versailles and the Jews officially began to return to Israel. This led me to understand that the seven weeks ended in1939 when Britain issued the White Paper and placed a naval blockade along the coast of Israel to stop the Jews from returning to Israel.

The sixty two week longer period of time began after WW II on Nov. 29, 1947 when the General Assembly of the United Nations voted in favor of partitioning Palestine and for the second time the Jews officially began returning to Israel. On May 14, 1948, after the last British soldier left, Israel became a nation and was immediately recognized by the United States and the Soviet Union.

We are currently in the 62 week period of time and so far it includes the 1948 War of Independence, the 1956 Sinai War, the 1967 Six Day War, the 1971 Yom Kippur War, the Palestinian rioting and the 2006 Hezbollah War.

Dan 9:26-27 tells us that the seventieth week begins when the Antichrist emerges on the scene and makes a peace treaty between many nations and Israel and ends when Jesus completes the destruction of the False Prophet, who is the one who makes desolate, and the Antichrist, when according to Rev.20:20 He throws them into the lake of Fire alive and He begins reigning from Jerusalem for a 1000 years. A Jewish boy named Natan saw in a dream that the Antichrist’s armies depicted in Rev.20:21 will be destroyed by a worldwide Jericho wall collapse like event.
Dan 9:26-27 “Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. 27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”
Rev. 20:20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat upon the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

As I was sharing this insight with other believers I found that many churches are teaching that Dan 9 is a prophetic vision of the crucifixion of Jesus. They claim that when Gabriel said in Dan 9:27 that the Messiah would be cut off, he was describing the crucifixion of Jesus. However, when you take into consideration that Gabriel also told Daniel that before the Messiah would be cut off, there would be a man who would make a covenant with many and that when he breaks it, this will result in the Messiah being cut off, and that at that time he and the one who makes desolate would remove the regular sacrifice, you can see that the idea that the vision pertains to when Jesus was crucified does not fit what is described in the vision. We know that there was no covenant that was made prior to Jesus being crucified that when it was broken resulted in the crucifixion of Jesus and we also know that the regular sacrifice was not removed when Jesus was crucified.

As I mentioned previously, we can also see that this vision is not about the crucifixion of Jesus because Gabriel told Daniel he had come to give him understanding and when he said this, he was telling him that he had come to him to give him understanding of the vision he had recorded in Dan 8, which according to Dan 8:14 pertains to the end of the end times.

We can also see that that vision does not pertain to the crucifixion of Jesus because in Dan 9:24-25 Gabriel told Daniel that the vision pertained to restoration and rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem and we know that at the time Jesus was crucified Jerusalem was not being restored and it was not being rebuilt.

As you can see the insights that Jesus revealed to me regarding the fulfillment of the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks coincide with the restoration of Jerusalem and the time period that the restoration of Jerusalem takes place, described in the vision.

26 “Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

The first 69 weeks of Daniel 9 have been fulfilled. There is still the 70th week of Daniel 9:27 remaining, when the Daniel 8 vision of the little horn and his transgression of desolation will be fulfilled.

No, that is not what it says in Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 9:27.

The messiah would be cutoff - then afteward, a man referred to as the prince who shall confirm - not make - the covenant with many.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

It is talking about the Mt. Sinai covenant. In Deuteronomy 31:9-13, Moses made it a requirement of all future leaders of Israel as long as they were in the land that they confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant by having the law read to the nation of Israel. From the place of God's choosing - which the Jews currently take to be the temple mount.

The scriptures point out that Dan 9 is about the end of the end times not the crucifixion of Jesus. When the angel Gabriel told Daniel in Dan 9:22: “I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding”, he was telling him that he had come to give him understanding of the vision that he had seen previously and recorded in Dan 8, which according to Dan 8:27 astounded him and he wanted to understand it, but there was no one to explain it to him.

This is a deathly error on the premillennialism interpretation of Daniel 9:26-27. Daniel 9:24-27 is about God and His people, Israel. Nothing is mentioned about "evil third parties" outside the context such as Romans or Antichrist.

Messiah the Prince is Jesus Christ. His people are Jews who came against Him on the Cross. And "he" is speaking of the same Messiah the Prince per context! He confirms a new covenant with His people with His Death which started the New Testament congregation. Christ is the sacrifice for His People. Once all of Israel has been secured, He will cause the sacrifice to cease which means the salvation has ended and allowed his unfaithful congregation to become desolate until the end. That's it.

But you are making up false speculation that verse 27 must be "a man" outside context instead Messiah the Prince to be the one to confirm a "peace treaty" or "mt sinai covenant" where he will end it and demand the world to worship him. That is absurd. This is not what Daniel 9:24 is about!

You didn't search the Bible for the the answers to your questions. Your comment contradicts Dan. 9:27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”
If you searched the scriptures you would have noticed that the only persons that put a stop to the regular sacrifice in the end of the end times is the Antichrist and the False Prophet, both of whom are disposed of without human agency, none of which has happened yet.

James, in the Daniel 8 time of the end vision about the little horn - that person stands up against the Prince of princes, and gets broken.

Part of the understanding about that vision Gabriel gave to Daniel in Daniel 9 is who the Prince of princes is. Which is the messiah cutoff - who we know to be Jesus. Otherwise, Daniel would have no idea of who the Prince of princes in Daniel 8 is.

The Prince of princes is the messiah.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Did Daniel have a complete comprehensive understanding of how all the time of the end prophecies he was given - would fit together ?

The answer is no. In Daniel 12:8...

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Which is why I write... Pray for wisdom.

You made that up the story that the label Prince of princes is found in Dan 8 and then conflated this fabrication with the fabrication you made up about a Prince of princes, that is also not found in Dan 9. The people of the prince who is to come found in Dan 9:26 destroys the city and the sancutary therefore it is ridiculous to even entertain the idea that the prince who is to come is Jesus.
Dan. 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Beautiful Land. 10 And it grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down. 11 It even magnified itself to be equal with the Commander of the host; and it removed the regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down. 12 And on account of transgression the host will be given over to the horn along with the regular sacrifice; and it will fling truth to the ground and perform its will and prosper. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “ How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?”
Dan 9:26 “Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

No, I did not make up any label. Here is the copy and paste from the kjv....

Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Scripture does not tell you about the "antichrist" and the "false prophet" to "end sacrifice." You make it up. And it's not some "regular" sacrifice as you think it must take place with some physical animals and temple in the future. It is you who need to search scripture on HOW the covenant (testament) was confirmed.

Heb 9:14-17

(14) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(15) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
(16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
(17) For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Christ, the Messiah the Prince, dead in order to confirm a covenant! THIS is what Daniel 9:27 talks about. Do you actually believe Antichrist will die in order to confirm 7 years of "covenant" with national Israel?! And NO, the antichrist will NOT pen on a piece of paper to start a "7 years covenant' to fit the false teaching of dispensational premillennialism.

Also, you forgot that Christ, being our high priest, offered sacrifice on our behalf which he alone will end AFTER all Israel has been secured.

Heb 7:25-27
(25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
(26) For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
(27) Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Jesus Christ is our sacrifice. But after He secured all of His Elect, the sacrifice, and offering ceased. In other words, salvation has ended, for a little season. But for the chosen of God's sake, the days are shortened, that there will be rapture for Elect who are alive and remain. And that will be at the end of the consummation. This has NOTHING to do with Jewish sacrifice, physical temple, or Jews in the Middle East. It is all about God's plan for His New Testament congregation of Israel whom He has confirmed a covenant with! Not nation Israel!

Selah!

Of couse the prince to come is not Jesus. So people make that claim, but not me.

Jesus is Daniel 9:26 is Messiah cutoff.

Sorry, wrong. Per context, it is all about Messiah the Prince and His people Israel. Not about some evil prince or your vision of the "king of the Jew" out of Europe that will sign a 7 years peace treaty or whatever. Let look at what the context of Daniel 9:24-27 talked about (emphasis mine)

Dan 9:24-27
(24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (Covenant Israel) and upon thy holy city (Covenant Israel), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
(25) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince (Christ) shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
(26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah (Christ) be cut off, but not for himself (Christ): and the people (Jews) of the prince (Christ) that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (Old Testament Congregation of Israel which the body of Christ represented that fell but Christ rebuilt it in three days); and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (The house of Old Testament congregation was desolate and stones (people) of the building fell! For example, the kingdom was taken from them and given to another, the one that christ rebuilt the temple in three days!)
(27) And he (Christ) shall confirm the covenant with many (New Testament Israel, the Church) for one week: and in the midst of the week he (Christ) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he (Christ) shall make it desolate, even until the consummation (Second Coming), and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (abomination of desolation in the unfaithful New Testament congregation).

God NEVER said anything about introducing the evil prince, antichrist, or third physical temple in His 70 weeks. YOU and the premillennialists did add this out of context! Daniel 9:24 is clear that the 70 weeks has to do with God and His People Israel (ALL Elect from Old and New Testament) that He went to the Cross to confirm a new and better covenant for them (replace the old one)! The covenant is ALL about finishing the transgression, make an end of sins, make reconciliation for iniquity and everlasting righteousness, seal up vision and prophecy, and anoint the Most Holy.

But oh mine... unfortunately, many are being brainwashed by teachers who told them to add a third party like the evil prince, into verse 27. Something that God has NOT said!

That vision included the time of the end vision of the little horn person. Gabriel is referring to that vision, in Daniel 8, when Daniel first encountered Gabriel. Because Gabriel appeared to Daniel in Daniel 8, when God responded to Daniel's prayer in Daniel 9, God sent Gabriel to enlighten Daniel more about that vision - who the Prince of princes in Daniel 8:25 is - the messiah of Daniel 9:26.

Prophecy includes other visions Daniel had regarding the time of the end. The time of the end expression is also found Daniel 12:4.

So, look through Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 for the little horn person. And Daniel 12 for the abomination of desolation that Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:15 regarding the great tribulation that will be right before His Return.

God NEVER said anything about introducing the evil prince, antichrist, or third physical temple in His 70 weeks.
A physical temple is referred to in Daniel 8:13-14 as the sanctuary, in conjunction with the transgression of deolation act (the 2Thesslaonians2:4 act) by the little horn person in the time of the end.

13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Not a little horn "person". This horn is about Satan's full power for a short time. Not a person!

Yeah, so?

Prophecy includes other visions Daniel had regarding the time of the end. The time of the end expression is also found Daniel 12:4.

I think you misunderstood what the "time of the end" really is about. Let check with the verse:

Dan 12:4
(4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

God's messenger Daniel was told to keep this a mystery UNTIL the time of the end when Christ would come. That is while after Christ came God's messenger John was told not to keep the things a mystery, but to reveal these things to the servants of God. This necessarily would increase the knowledge that was before restricted. Revelation is given in cryptic symbolism and parabolic imagery so that the wicked might be confounded by its mystery. By contrast, the election is given "of the Spirit" to understand these mysteries or secrets. A principle God explained plainly in places like Matthew 13:

Matthew 13:10-11
  • "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
  • He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."
People often ask me, why did God make the book of Revelation so difficult to understand. My answer is always because it is revealed only to those who hold the word of God as their ultimate authority in interpretations, meaning interpretations belong to God (Genesis 41:15-16; 40:8 ). Not their favorite teacher, author, or world news. It is the few who want to do that. Those who seek worldly, carnal, and extrabiblical interpretations, are confounded by the symbolism. While those who interpret by scripture alone (Sola Scriptura) through the Spirit of Christ, have these truths revealed to them. These are those called of God to receive truth, while others refuse the truth presented by God in love. Visa'vis, even as Daniel in the previous verse 3 prophesied in the symbolism of us being "as" stars. Something Revelation also carries through in that book.

Daniel 12:3
  • "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
We receive the knowledge in Christ Jesus that we are these stars of heaven. Israel were these stars of heaven that were cast down from the kingdom (Revelation 12) representation. It was a mystery not known in Daniel's time, but is now made manifest in the Revelation or uncovering of the mystery of the true nature of Israel, the chosen people of God. That is how knowledge is being increased. The nation of Israel that rejected Christ is as the fallen stars, or the stars cast down from heaven (Revelation 12) that they no longer be the Kingdom of heaven on earth representation. For example, the kingdom of heaven representation where they are as stars there is taken from them and given to the New Testament church. That same knowledge of this mystery that is now revealed in Revelation 12:4 of the stars cast down from heaven is reiterated in Christ's parable of the Vinyard and the kingdom taken from those who rejected its true nature. Selah!

Matthew 21:42-43

  • "Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
  • Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof."
All these things are part of Revelation, the revealing of the mystery/secret in the last days, which encompasses the whole New Testament era. Daniel's prophecy referred to a distant time when Christ would come and bring that Revelation. Daniel's prophesy was fulfilled in Christ going away and sending the comforter/consoler that reveals this mystery and shows us all things that are to come.

John 16:13-15
  • "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
  • He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
  • All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."
Just as we read in Revelation that the Spirit came to show John things that were to come, and God reiterated it was to show His servants things that were to come. This is the mystery being revealed, and the knowledge of God's plans being revealed. To one revealed today, to another revealed 2 years ago, and to another revealed tomorrow. It shows us that the stars falling and the moon not giving her light are the messengers of the church (Revelation 2:5), NOT physical stars falling to Earth. Showing us that the great city Babylon falling is the unfaithful church in captivity, NOT the world system. Showing us that the two witnesses of Revelation being killed are the faithful messengers establishing truth (Deuteronomy 19:15) within that church, NOT Elijah and Moses. Showing us that the famine is of hearing the word of God, NOT starvation in Africa. Or that the great harlot decked out like kingdom royalty is actually the false church who has sold herself for gain, and NOT worldwide economics. ...and so on and so forth. The Mystery is revealed when knowledge is increased. Israel, to whom Daniel prophesied with premature zeal, sought after self-righteousness, physical freedom from the Roman government, and signs of the predicted messiah come to set them free from the rule of the Romans, but received none of it. Because their methodology of interpretation was flawed. Daniel's prophecy remained sealed up to them (in part). Because the language of Scripture was designed so that only those who received the Spirit of truth by grace, could have this knowledge.

Lastly, Daniel's prophecy of those running to and fro is not referring to any modern rapidity of locomotion, technologies, etc. as some think, nor to Christian missionaries going about to preach the Gospel to the world at large [BARNES], which the context scarcely admits; but, whereas now but few care for this prophecy of God, "at the time of the end," that is, near its fulfillment, "many shall run to and fro," that is, scrutinize it, running through every page. Compare Hab 2:2 [CALVIN]: it is thereby that "the knowledge (namely, of God's purposes as revealed in prophecy) shall be increased." This is probably now being fulfilled.

Selah!
So, look through Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 for the little horn person.

Not a little horn person. Again.

And Daniel 12 for the abomination of desolation that Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:15 regarding the great tribulation that will be right before His Return.

True! The question is what abomination of desolation is this, really?

No. It is not about the physical Jewish temple sometime in the future at the time of the end. It is the New Testament congregation where Christ will have it cleansed by judging the professed Christians (the ones who are the buyers and sellers with the mark of the beast) just like he did with buyers and sellers out of the temple in Christ's day as a type.

Not a little horn "person". This horn is about Satan's full power for a short time. Not a person!
The little horn person in Daniel 8:23 is a king of fierce countenance. Which is a repeat of Daniel 7:20 that his look is more stout than his fellows.

God's messenger Daniel was told to keep this a mystery UNTIL the time of the end when Christ would come.
when Christ would come a second time.

Dan 12:4
(4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
cars, planes - many shall run to and fro
internet - knowledge shall be increased

The parable of the fig tree generation. Those things have all come together. And here we are with the little horn person about to be revealed for certain who he is.

The little horn person in Daniel 8:23 is a king of fierce countenance. Which is a repeat of Daniel 7:20 that his look is more stout than his fellows.

Dan 7:19-21
(19) Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
(20) And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
(21) I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Once again, Horns signify power, this little horn may be "small" in symbolizing the period of time he rules as king, but is powerful in what he accomplishes in that small period. See Revelation 20:7-8 as Satan goes about and deceives the whole world in this short period of time. As for the word translated stout, that illustrates that he is superior or grander than the other horns or powers that went before. You have to understand the word translated stout is [rab'] from Aramaic, meaning great or greater. This short period of his power is greater.

Revelation 20:6-7
  • "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
  • And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,"
For example, Satan has been going about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour the entire New Testament period. But when he is loosed by God at this time, Satan's kingdom's power at this time is GREATER. God sets this in motion, thus the number 3 in Daniel 7: 20 signifying God's will and purpose in loosing him upon His unfaithful church as judgment.

when Christ would come a second time.

First time after Daniel penned his book. This is how the New Testament was revealed as I explained previously.

cars, planes - many shall run to and fro
internet - knowledge shall be increased

Oh please! Nothing like that!

I have told you that in scripture "the time of the end," as well as "the last days," refers to the whole New Testament period. That is when knowledge was increased and when the servants of God were sent to "go forth" (to and fro) with the gospel to the whole earth. It started with Christ's death and resurrection after He witnessed to the nation of Israel, and it ended with his triumphant return on the clouds of glory. I believe that this is the time of the increase in knowledge and when many (the elect) run to and fro or "go forth" with the power of the Revelation of God, through the Holy Spirit poured out at Pentecost. Selah!

I believe this refers to the great knowledge through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us and signified by the sign at Pentecost.

Acts 2:14-21
  • "But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
  • For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
  • But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
  • And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
  • And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
  • And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
  • The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
  • And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
This is the uncovering of the seal on the book, the revelation of the Holy Spirit, the time when His servants will dream dreams and have visions, the time when we understand we have one Priest in Christ where we are all made kings and priests unto God through Him. This is the time when we receive the knowledge to understand that we are now all Kings and Priests unto him. Thus we prophesy, see visions, dream dreams, and interpret mysteries because our knowledge of the word has increased. The mystery of God kept secret for so long was uncovered by Christ, yet progressively revealed to us in His own time. The whole New Testament period is the time when "that which was kept a mystery or secret" from the beginning, would be revealed by Christ sending the Holy Spirit to enlighten all His servants. When Christ sent the comforter to us, He began that revelation to increase knowledge in the earth of Him, and I believe it increases more as we near the end of all things. The latter days when Christ gives us a mouth and words of fire where none can gainsay or resist. Please read the verses below carefully:

Romans 16:25-26
  • "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
  • But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"
The mystery is that Israel would be made up of Jews and Gentiles, and according to the gospel revealed in the faith of Christ. Note that in the passage you quoted in Daniel, he is told to shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end, meaning it was not meant to be understood until that time. While the apostle John is told not to seal up the visions of the book God had given him, meaning it was now to be revealed. That's why it is called the book of the Apocalypse (uncovering), or revealing the secrets of the knowledge that was before kept secret.

This has NOTHING to do with modern technologies or the internet because this is not what Daniel talked about.

The parable of the fig tree generation.

No such thing as "fig tree generation" Read again:

Mat 24:32-35
(32) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
(33) So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
(34) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
(35) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Jesus was talking about the literal fig tree and all other trees (Luke 21) and used these as an example. Not making fig tree a generation! He told us that when we see branch tender, we will mentally know that summer is near, so likewise, when we see all these things Christ explained in the chapter, we will mentally know that Christ's coming is near. Thats it. So the generation in verse 34 has nothing to do with fig tree or Israel, rather Jesus said the generation or family of evil will not pass until all things are fulfilled first. Then the evil generation will end and all unsaved people from Cain to the last unsaved person will be thrown into the Lake of fire.

Those things have all come together. And here we are with the little horn person about to be revealed for certain who he is.

Yeah, good luck with the name drop which premillennialists have made false predication on someone they thought will be the antichrist. You are like them.

Guess what, Satan has already been loosed and has a greater power to silence the faithful witnesses in God's unfaithful congregations as of this writing. That is why you are looking for the wrong person or the wrong place with your doctrine.

Of course Jesus was not making a fig tree as a generation. I did not write the parable of the fig tree generation - because I thought every understood that "the parable of" was implied.

A generation in the bible is based on Psalms 90:10 - as being 70 years, and if by strength 80 years.

You are of that generation.
