The forums are a bit messy.

There's so many forums and so many different things that it makes it nearly impossible for everyone to be able to stay together in one forum.

What I mean is, take a look at some other forum websites. If you look at them, you'll see that they don't have millions of forums for everything. They only have a few, and they don't separate people so much that they have to stay apart from each other.

The reasons this forum is so slow is because you have so many forums that not a lot of people stay in one forum, thus causing it to have less people and be slower.

What you should do is to lessen the number of forums and stop splitting everyone up into different groups. We're ALL (most of us) christian, and God isn't looking at whether we're baptist or not. It only matters whether we're following his word and listening to the Holy Spirit. This is why I think that splitting everyone up only causes confusion and discomfort.

Not only that, but it just looks very...unorganized. Take a look at it. Don't you see how there are just way too many forums?

So those are my suggestions. I hope these help.

Yes, some can see where it would be a little intimidating and daunting for a newcomer to CF. I mainly stick with perhaps a half dozen boards, mainly General Theology and just recently the Society board.
Have you got any recommendations on how to organize it better? Thanks

Mmmm.....CF is by no means slow. We average a little over 10,000 post per day. I realize that we have a lot of forums but that is because there are many interests among our membership. Some forums are much more slower than others. Maybe you should look around a bit and find the forums that best suit your interests.

I agree there is WAY to many sections...
But the site is TOTALLY worth it!

theres heaps of threads which are the same, but are just stuck in different areas.

how about make all fun ones in a desgnitated area, and their posts dont add to the post count.
