We have from 3 to 5 attend bible calsse on Sunday and no classes during the week. The president of the congregation is the leader and even though he is a good Christian he isn't a good teacher. That's the most important part. He basicaly reads the lesson and asks for comment but as far as I'm concerned he should stay the president.

My biggest complaint is that he uses mostly bible lessons from CPH and they are dry. The lesson ask such off the wall questions that don't make a whole lot of sense. I have asked the leader to think about other lessons that would challenge the people to think but to no avail. It still goes on and the attendance is still low.

Our church has a very good core group that attend Sunday morning Bible study every week. The problem is that I have to teach confirmation during that time so I can't do the adult study (although that is changing next year!). Right now my elder chairman is leading the class.

Start your own Bible study, Rad?

Several of us are talking about having a BoC workshop in our homes.

Oh that sounds like fun!

Has it ever been done on here? If so, I'd love to go back and read the posts.

That's sounds like a great idea ! My problem is I travel a lot and can't always be there. I'll still look into it.

That's why you meet at different peoples' homes, so if you're gone it can still go on, but at least if you get it rolling it may grow on its own. It's worth a shot, right?

Some of us here are just Word Nerds.
