CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You're left however you choose to be left, foodie. Stop carrying the guilt and blame and give it to God already. Does beating yourself up make you feel any better? What's done is done and you can't do anything to change it. Now, you need to focus on picking yourself up by the bootstraps and moving through the healing process.
I feel for you. I really do. I know how frustrating and hurtful it can be to realize that the person who made a covenant to love you til death do you part never really even cared about you - much less loved you. But, you simply cannot go through life letting HIS inability to love you rule you and define you. Don't give him that much power over you. Not when God wants you to know how much He loves you - let that be the power over your life, sister.

I am reluctant to ask, but you have mentioned this in open forum, so here goes......have you received any help with your OCD in the last few months? I earnestly believe until you get that more under control, you are going to struggle with turning your emotions/thoughts to anything less damaging. Even home bound people can get help with OCD in many fashions.
