To me, treating the lake of fire as a purification ritual after Jesus specifically said not to go there gives terrible echoes of Genesis 3:1 / Leviticus 18:21.
It’s sad now we both feel sad for the other. You poor dear lady: The Fire of God is what He is. That Fire changes & transforms absolutely every thing it touches. The theion & theioo of the Lake of all lakes radiates with Him (Theos) with exactly the same net result:
Change & transformation

Even if you hope for eternal reconciliation you don’t need to try to explain how.
Especially not like that. Not to line people up to enter a place you can’t promise they’re able to leave. It’s not your promise to make.
You’re right that only he can. Sorcery relies on our own wisdom.Dear Lady: I do not feel sad for you! After a few moons of experience in Him, I am beginning to realize He dwells in the musterion realms of disclosure. Only He can open blind eyes & deaf ears.

The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations.
I have absolute confidence in the God who raises the dead. I also realize that the fallen children of Adam are in great need of reconciliation with the Father, as He lifts each & every one on His time table by His love & grace into at-one-ment.

In that case, what led you to the idea that the purification is for the individual members rather than for the body? Why did Jesus the Christ say not to go there? Not because it was an eternal hell, but because He wanted us to take the high road and become Overcomers. The low road, OTOH, is to be cast into the LoF for involuntary purification. I did not fully understand it until I did an intense word study on "fire" and related words. It is now very clear to me that God's plan for us is purification, and He calls Himself a Refiner (sometimes, Soap) and describes our purification in terms of refining gold and silver away from impurities - dross, such as lead, tin and iron. The end result is the same, but it is far better to experience purification before death than after...

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 / 1 Corinthians 15:20-23
I’ll say again that I don’t know what will happen or how, but that it’s fair to say why your interpretation could be lacking and to test it.
If there is one body of Christ then wouldn’t there also be one body of Adam? In that the word “adam” literally means human and implies human of the earth, there was one adam created, one breath given, and every individual is not its own tree but a branch of the adam.
So if being “in adam” and not “in Christ” means being of the perishable earth, what of the adamic would survive this purification and come out the other side?
If the Body of Christ is what you call the “main body” what is the (second? other?) non-main body?Jesus the Christ gave us sufficient hints that ALL would be saved, such as parables of a lost sheep, a lost coin and so on. After feeding the multitude, He had His disciples go and pick up the crumbs so that nothing would be lost. Crumbs are usually left for the birds and mice, so He was making a point: All will be saved, not just the main body.
Your question about the individual tree and the branch reminds me of an aspen grove, appearing to be individual trees above the grass, but all connected below the grass - a clone covering acres.
Hope this helps...

One single crumb of the bread of life is enough to bring one into the body of Christ.
So, Jesus was just kidding when He said to go into all the world and preach he "good news" (gospel)..
Cause.. people die doing it and are tortured, and suffer other painful results for preaching and spreading the gospel..
But.. According to you.. we are all going to be saved anyway..
These poor people.. what a waste of time effort and lives.
At the bottom of this post is a brother who we know. He is a believer in the glorious message of universal reconciliation. If you would like his e-mail to express your thoughts, it can be arranged. You then can tell him why the reach of Jesus Christ is a waste of time.
see:I was thinking of it this way - the "main body" was the fishes and loaves of bread that the multitude ate, representing the mass of humankind, and the crumbs (to me) are the stragglers of it. Jesus was demonstrating that none would be lost.
see:
I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:14-16, NKJV)
That’s where I believe you’re coming from? I really do think it would be wonderful if everyone were to become one of the sheep and everything would be entirely at peace. I won’t preach purification by the lake of fire to get to that point though, and I don’t think you need to either.
Because if that’s not true, it’s quite genuinely wrong.

Dear Fine, why are you pointing people to the teachings of men that lead people away from God instead of to the Word of God where JESUS is found?
I don’t really have any -isms to repent from because even when I was doing terrible things I thought I was too good to call any of them -isms but I will say that there came a point where I realised that 1. Gods kingdom deserved to exist and 1a. Even if I couldn’t be part of it and in that frame of mind I actually did face the complete annihilation of my self and still agreed with it as being right.Well, this ex-damnationist finds the salvation of all to be true, and it becomes more and more clear to me as time goes on. I would preach purification by the LoF, for I find it to be a thread woven all through the text of the Scriptures. God calls Himself a Refiner, and over and over speaks of refining men to produce the gold and silver.
