God's Word teaches...
1. The unrepentant wicked do not receive eternal life *JOHN 3:36
2. The unrepentant wicked are destroyed after the second coming *2 THESSALONIANS 1:9
3. The unrepentant wicked partake of the second resurrection of condemnation *JOHN 5:28-29
4. The unrepentant wicked in the second resurrection of condemnation partake of the second death in the Lake of fire *REVELATION 20:6; REVELATION 21:7-8.
5. There is no more resurrections after the second death and no more death.

That's all right, lotsa destruction. But in which of those scriptures does God SWEAR AN OATH BY HIMSELF?
His overriding, overaraching and paramount obligation is to have everyone swear allegiance to Him (Isa 45:23, Rom 14:11, Phil 2:10, Rev 15:4 etc etc).
So how can He do that to the unrepentant wicked? By destroying their unrepentance and wickedness. How? By His righteous word gone out and revealed through the gospel truth. Bringing forth faith and belief in Christ. Behold, all things made new!
Get ready to have your false beliefs destroyed in the fire. We'll all need cleansing.
It is time to leave the doctrine of fallen Eve dear friend and drink of the waters of life where you will never thirst...
Most unfortunate that UR-ites cannot provide one scripture which states unequivocally "that all are raised, cleansed and healed." even after death. It is amusing that we both feel the same way about one another's theology.
I don't understand how you think that God is glorified if most ppl end up destroyed and dead forever, as compared to the outcome that all are raised, cleansed and healed.

Dear Shrewd: the fallen lady of chance has a need for a new vision of grandeur.
Please do not disclose what the anakainosis for the holus-bolus entails.
I am part of your group with much need as the holus-bolus to know the wonder of anakainosis in greater dimensions.
My Dear Brother, as you know only God can reveal the awesome perfect beautiful glorious truth of the universal homecoming, the consummation of the ages in the redemption, reconciliation, restoration and renewal of all creation.
We see now only as through a glass, darkly. But then face to face: now we know in part; but then shall we know even as also we are known.
Brother I just learned that the name David means 'beloved' in Hebrew.
and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased." (Matt 3:17)
It occurred to me that God is telling the Jews that Jesus is His son of the line of David ('Here is my son of David'), anointing Jesus as the Messiah at his baptism in the Jordan.
The usual UR twisted scripture.FineLinen said:Philippians 2:10-11
"That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Note on "acknowledge"
eksomologéō from ek, "wholly out from,"
Fully agree and to acknowledge that agreement openly (whole-heartedly); hence, to confess ("openly declare"), without reservation (no holding back).
Verse 10
That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow (ινα εν τωι ονοματι Ιησου παν γονυ καμπσηι — hina en tōi onomati Iēsou pan gonu kampsēi).
First aorist active subjunctive of καμπτω — kamptō old verb, to bend, to bow, in purpose clause with ινα — hina
Not perfunctory genuflections whenever the name of Jesus is mentioned, but universal acknowledgment of the majesty and power of Jesus who carries his human name and nature to heaven.
This universal homage to Jesus is seen in Romans 8:22; Ephesians 1:20-22 and in particular Revelation 5:13.
Under the earth (καταχτονιων — katachthoniōn). Homeric adjective for departed souls, subterranean, simply the dead.

FineLinen said:"How could the Bible possibly speak of the perfect victory of God our Creator who loves righteousness and cannot bear evil, if that victory really means that He cannot bring His own creatures at last to hate evil as He hates it, but must confirm multitudes, indeed the majority of them, in their choice of evil for ever and ever?... What sort of victory is it to be able only to subdue evil and prevent it harming any but those who choose it, and to be unable to bring human souls to abominate it and desire to forsake it, so that the evil itself ceases to exist?" -Hannah Hurnard.
