I hear ya!
this is a debate, not the roman house church
QFT!This isn't a debate. In a debate, you actually address the person with the opposing viewpoint. You're just erecting your own strawmen so you can tear them down.
You've been told repeatedly by multiple people that no one in this current discussion is saying that you MUST celebrate the feasts. But you just stick your fingers in your ears and carry on happily tearing that strawman to shreds, trying to make it appear like you're proving something.
It's unfortunate that you won't receive the clear instruction from Romans 14 and stop judging your brothers and sisters and treating them with contempt. You're doing precisely what Paul said you shouldn't and ironically, what you're falsely suggesting others are doing; You're imposing your own convictions on disputable matters by saying you SHOULD NOT observe the feasts.

Not true, care to back up your claim with quotes, or are we only going to have your biased opinion on the matter? Being a Messianic JEW who has attended numerous congregations and synagoges all over the west, has ministered Torah studies for gentiles, and who has run numerous Messianic discussion forums I'd say your exagerating a lot. Yes, there are HR congregations that believe you MUST observe or you're not loving Messiah. But that is NOT the standard belief within MOST Messianic Jewish congregations.PS, lets not forget, many MJ churhes think it law, or people "should" keep feasts, to please the lord.
This is a 'Discussion' thread. There is a Fellowship thread if you do not want to discuss. Let us discuss.
I see no discussion from you or frog, just bias rants based on the perceived errors of others. A discussion usually involves consideration from 'both' sides. Not just 'YOUR WRONG!!!' hehehehe I'm right... Oh good boy froggy.... yea they all heretics everyone knows dat!! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT on!!This is a 'Discussion' thread. IF a real discussion was possible i'd be all over it. But erecting straw men for the glory of watching them burn down others is ....pathetic.
I covered Rom 14, and alot more, that which you ignored, the red above is a personal flame. This isn't a debate. In a debate, you actually address the person with the opposing viewpoint. You're just erecting your own strawmen so you can tear them down.

Again and again people have said that they do not believe honoring the feast adds anything to the work of christ but is done as a.remembrance of who he is and what he has done....you insist this is legalism
At least twice Ive asked if you celebrate christmass and easter..which you refuse to respond to...I assume because you do.
Today at sundown will be the feast of trumpets which herald the coming return of our king...who shall come with the sword of his mouth and destroy every enemy...and he shall reign forever and ever in a kingdom of perfection...
Ten days from now comes the day of atonment...these days were to be spent considering the perfection of our Gods grace and love and mercy and our absolute dependance on him for our redemption...sorry to bring you into my legalism.
Can the feast be legalistic...yes....can the taking of communion be legalistic yes....

So stop using the fringe to describe the majority. It's bearing false witness. Prove your statement with facts, which you say you have. Or shut up with the villification of Messianic Jewish faith. Provide ONE established Messianic Jewish organization that demands all believers keep the feasts or they don't please the lord. Or are you basing your opinions on the fringe individuals who come into forums and rant their bias 'facts' all over the place as if they were knowlegeable?

Which is why I usually sit back and shake my head at the so called attempt at 'discussion'. Talk about dysfunctional.
And speaking of communion
*[[Luk 22:13-20]] RNKJV* And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the *passover. *
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
And he said unto them, With desire *I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: *
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of יהוה.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of יהוה shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
*[[1Co 11:23-26]] RNKJV* For I have received of יהוה that which also I delivered unto you, That the Master Yahushua *the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: *
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew Yahushua's death till he come.
You do realize communion is part of a feast day right.
It would seem to be a good tactic from your point of view to make me out to be just a side line cheerleader and not someone convicted by the words of Paul.
Making me seem like a sideline cheerleader for someone else is minimizing my own strong beliefs on this subject, which is what you would like to do so it seems like it is a one against many argument.
But the FACT is that MANY believe that the feasts are to no advantage to the Christian and is leven to the blood of Jesus and our salvation in Him.
That's a fact.
But that was the table of the Lord, the new cov, go ask an unsaved Jewish person if when he keeps Passover, if he is about Jesus Christ who rose from the dead..
I can break bread on any day....
Passover is not the table we take, that was about the sins of those who fled Egypt. did you flee Egypt?
