Science does not propose to "prove" the ToE. Ok? There is no purpose in talking about "proving" it.

What CAN be done, using science, is to DISPROVE something.

You seem to be describing a new brand of evolution other than the one Darwin described.

Of course I am... Why does that surprise you? You seem to be assuming that the theory of evolution was wholly formed by Darwin, and has remained unchanged since then. That is Wrong. The theory of evolution started with Darwin, and was refined/improved afterward by many many others...

Did evolution evolve?

Not in a biological sense (it is obviously not a biological entity), but the theory of evolution has changed over time, yes. We have gotten metric tons more information to corroborate it, and based on additional information we have corrected or added to those details that were wrong, vague, or missing.

A lot of innocent people were condemned to death based on so called evidence.

As were far more guilty people.

The evidence was not the problem; it was man's ignorance in trying to understand the evidence.

Man is just as ignorant when it comes to his efforts to understand the so called evidence for evolution.

So? Does that say something about evidence in general, or how we use the evidence (or do not use it)?

The evidence was not the problem; it was man's ignorance in trying to understand the evidence.

So, we are all ignorant and can never learn anything about the world around us.. is that your point?

The evolution of man from beast is impossible to prove. We can only speculate on so called evidence.

We can gather evidence and infer a hypothesis from that evidence. We can then test the hypothesis and its predictions. Does that sound like "speculation" to you?

Evolution is just a whole bunch of speculation beyond a reasonable doubt.

You keep using that word.. speculation... I don't think it means what you think it means. What is "speculation beyond a reasonable doubt?" If it is beyond a reasonable doubt, it is not "speculation."

The evidence all infers that we evolved from other animals. That is why we are still animals, and mammals and primates, and apes. You cannot escape your ancestry.

Doveaman, let me clarify exactly what I am looking for.

I am looking for you to show me something that can't possibly exist if the modern theory of evolution is true.

That doesn't mean evolution HAS to be true. Indeed, if you can show me such a thing, then you would have shown that the modern thoery of evolution is not true. Just show me something that evolution says can't possibly happen. A rabbit fossil in precambrian rocks will do. Or something like that. That's all. There's no need for any of these word games.
