In reading so many post I find that the devil is working overtime on members of this forum. So many speak of losing faith, and being overrun with problems of this world. They are confused and say they don't know which way to turn. The way to turn is up.. In our christian life we must learn to turn our eyes to God, and away from the things of this world. We must learn to get on our knees and give it all to God, and leave it all with god. Its like to many of us are holding a mirror. When you hold a mirror all you see is yourself. We need to pick up a window glass and look through it. When we look through a clear glass we see all around us. We need to be able to look around us and identify the evil and not give in to his way of thinking. Stand strong with the full armor of God. Put down the mirror today I beg you. Be strong in your FAITH, when things don't go the way you want don't give up on God. We need to pray one for another, but we need to stand as individuals for what we believe also. God Bless

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
