this is just something God showed me that i thought was awesome.
proverbs 4.18
but the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
and man that blessed me, to know that the blessing and hand of God on my life is only going to increase!
i feel like the true blessing of God is something many people learn how to live without, but i believe we can be blessed! i believe we can see our children saved, we can see our way out of poverty, we can see our way out of depression and mental or physical illnesses, i believe God is a God of restoration! God is a God that longs for people and all their lives to be restored, to the beauty and wonder and blessing that is Christ.
poverty is not a blessing or restoration.
sickness is not a blessing or restoration.
seeing your children unsaved, is not a blessing or restoration.
having a lousy job is not a blessing or restoration.
there are times and seasons of having to go through hard times... but thats the exception, and not the rule. the rule is that goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life. yes death happens, and yes troubles comes, but the bottom line is God is not a God of death or trouble, God is a God of blessing!
and when God said BLESSED IS THE MAN....in psalms one, he meant he wanted to bless us! and then he said "HERES HOW YOU DOIT!"
WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BLESSED BEAUTIFUL ENVIED PEOPLE!
and its good, to know that i dont have to settle for the amount of blessing that i have right now. God said if you walk uprightly, if you walk the path of the just, if you walk in truth and honor and righteousness, standing up for the cause of the Lord and the needy people, God is going to bless you.
your life is going to be a shining light... not a dim flicker or a dark room. and that light, will increase and increase and increase and shine more and more and get brighter and brighter, throughout the years!
IF YOUR WILLING TO BE PATIENT AND PAY THE PRICE OF HOLINESS AND STAYING TRUE TO THE FATHER!
i thank God that hes blessed me today, but 5 years from now im gonna be more blessed! and 10 years from now im gonna be more blessed! and when im old im gonna even more blessed! im going to be able to bless my grandchildren with wonderful things, in abundance! in excess! and oh what a joy that will be!
TO BE BLESSED! AND WALK IN A CONTINUALLY INCREASING BLESSING!
