The Epic Question: Which console rules?

Right now in my wall unit at home, my Xbox sits beside my GameCube.

Everyday when I come home from work, the GameCube looks like it's been beat up on.

Sega Saturn had much better quality games and selection than any of the systems mentioned in the poll. Unfortunately, Sega couldn't get it to sell.

As of the console wars right now, Xbox. As of the console wars next battle, Xbox 360. I honestly wanted to pick the SNES, but I didn't see that until I submitted the vote for Xbox, because SNES is the best console ever. Period. Contest over. SNES wins. ^.^

We've been through most console systems... the ones we always end up playing are the NES ones. Genesis came close at one time tho.

I feel that innovation will be very important in the future, so hands down Nintendo. This comes from being in the PC Gaming world for 3~4 years(during Gamecube). Although all consoles (and PC) have good points, Nintendo seems to be the best choice. ATI was a not very promising company when Gamecube came out, but ATI is now considered NVidia's rival and it might come through in the end for Nintendo. Then again, Nintendo seems not as concerned with hardware raw power but opt for affordability.

Furthermore, consider that society(at least in my point of view) is becoming increasingly concerned with values in entertainment, and again, Nintendo's family-friendlier policies might prove very important(think GTA for a moment now).

Finally, Nintendo has the power of OLD SCHOOL, which is unbeatable . Ok, seriously now, I really want to be able to play the oldies legally. I want to wait and see which company can pull off the right moves. I'll be extremely amused next year.

You forgot Atari, Commodore and Sega.

but out of the three you have chosen, i'd say Nintendo. They have way more original games than Sony or Microsoft.

I never got into console to me nothing beets the control you get from keyboard mouse
