  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The enemy has many faces, let's start with a few, and I know some of these will overlap. Liberalism-duh, the gay agenda, radical feminism, Militant Islam, the MSM or what I like to refer to as lamestream media, the cities of Berkeley and San Francisco, California. Keith Olberman and equally nauseous individuals, the obama administration, planned parenthood... hmmm.. let's keep this going.

No child left behind,
Goals 2000,
The Dialectic (dialoguing yourself out of the "Thou shalt not's" of God's Word) Process,
Murderous ways,
Stealing ways,
Adultery ways,
Having other gods,
Coveteous ways
The spirit behind "The Message" etc.

This mp3 gives much understanding:

Yeah, can't forget any gay/lesbian Pastors or Priests, and double whammy if they are heads of congregations/parishes.

Yes, well, some here may not agree, but that progression begins with the ordination of women and expecting them to serve in those same roles. Once you start feminizing, God, the dynamics of the pastoral office change when the one in His stead speaks with a voice of motherly love instead of that of our Father.

God feels motherly love as well...
Matthew 23:37
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

And as for this thread.... remember:

Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Matthew 5:44
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

God likes to perplex those who think He speaks to them as natural men.

26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 27For it is written:
"Be glad, O barren woman,
who bears no children;
break forth and cry aloud,
you who have no labor pains;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband."
(Galatians 4)

After reading Porter's post, I'll add what I agree with in this statement:
Matthew 23:37
[ Jesus Laments over Jerusalem ] “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!
How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

And this way ONLY. Any literal "female" stuff and you lose me immediately. Metaphorically is all the bible speaks of.

God likes to perplex those who think He speaks to them as natural men.
? I'm not sure what exactly you mean by this - but He confounds the wise.
The natural man doesn't understand the things of God.

But that's exactly what happens and how it starts, Nadiine. Human reason, supposition and relativism take the place of the purity of God's word.
Do such approaches demonstrate a lack of faith or giving into the world's need to bring Scripture down to the politically correct level so that it appeals to everyone? When that takes place, who is the enemy and who's to blame, the perpetrators or the misled who can't accept Scripture as God's given it to us?

I don't know what Criada or intricatic fully mean by either of their statements, I know how I meant it and have scripture to back that up.
I do accept a metaphorical sense of love towards Israel becuz it literally spells it out for us in how Jesus said He felt towards His people - wanting to care for them and protect them, but they essentially refused.

If they're meaning any literal connotations of feminine gender, it's false teaching entirely.

But absolutely, scripture is constantly taken out of context, altered, misconstrued, misinterpreted, misunderstood, ignored, twisted, manipulated, rejected and denied every single day by lots of people.

Peter explained
2 Peter 3:16
as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand,
which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

If I meant to communicate a literal connotation of feminine gender, I would be speaking naturally, like a man, about things men frequently concern themselves with. Laws and equality and so forth. I love equality, I think all men (and women! gasp) are equally depraved.

I think you missed my point by such a wide margin, that you're aiming in the opposite direction.
well she's asking a question to get your clarification here -
I'm not sure why you offer such a vague reply and ignore any answers?

Can I just ask that you spell out a reply to clarify your original statement?

Any Christians will admit that all males & females have the same original sin which makes them equally "wicked" -
this is why both male & females accept Christ for atonement & repent of their sin.
