CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Kat, I think I'm doing okay, for now.. Things are pretty hectic. I'll be back on Monday at the latest, I hope. Dad left a huge legacy behinnd him. The place is in chaos.

Hey, sry you guys... I've been... working. And thinking. Mostly about MD's dad. Not that I knew him but... I'm sorry for your loss, MD. I actually feel really bad about my usual "joking" post that I left right before you told me he died. Plus, you got me thinking about my own father. I'm... just not that close to him now because I still harbor some harsh feelings against him. Anyway, all I ever hear is how I'll regret not talking to him much if I keep this up... mostly, if he were to die tomorrow, SUPPOSEDLY I would regret ever disliking him.
Anyway, I'm back. I myself still have yet to sort out those thoughts in my head that are bothering me, but I usually end up turning to rp'ing to get my mind off of it.
