Thursday, March 14, 2013, 2:10 p.m. – I woke from a nap out of a dream:

What I remember of it, there were two streets – one running east and west, and one running north and south – which intersected at an upside-down L, so that the W/E road was on top of the N/S road at the L. We, the people of the street on top, placed some type of blockade at this intersection of the two roads. The blockade was in a triangular-shape.

The people of the road south of us (below us) removed the blockade so that they could pass through. We immediately put it back. Their truck rammed it, and then we, in our semi-truck, rammed them on top of this triangle. They were traveling south to north and we were traveling east to west. We drove on top of 3 vehicles, perhaps connected with this triangle, and we smashed at least 2 of them, if not all three. Only now we were a dinosaur. We then ripped off the cab of one of the 3 trucks (vehicles) in this triangle, and we tossed it in the air toward the south. END

Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Jeremiah 8:13-22; 9:1-25 (NIV): http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah%208&version=NIV; http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah%209&version=NIV

Why are we sitting here?
Gather together!
Let us flee to the fortified cities
and perish there!
For the Lord our God has doomed us to perish
and given us poisoned water to drink,
because we have sinned against him.
We hoped for peace
but no good has come,
for a time of healing
but there is only terror.
The snorting of the enemy’s horses
is heard from Dan;
at the neighing of their stallions
the whole land trembles.
They have come to devour
the land and everything in it,
the city and all who live there.

“See, I will send venomous snakes among you,
vipers that cannot be charmed,
and they will bite you,”
declares the Lord.

You who are my Comforter in sorrow,
my heart is faint within me.
Listen to the cry of my people
from a land far away:
“Is the Lord not in Zion?
Is her King no longer there?”

“Why have they aroused my anger with their images,
with their worthless foreign idols?”

“The harvest is past,
the summer has ended,
and we are not saved.”

Since my people are crushed, I am crushed;
I mourn, and horror grips me.
Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no healing
for the wound of my people? ~ Jer. 8:14-22

Symbols

I made some immediate connections between this dream and this passage of scripture in chapter 8, in particular, and I will deal with 9 later. I saw these symbol parallels:

· Fortified cities – the triangle blockade/3 trucks
· Snorting of enemies’ horses – the truck from the south and the semi-truck from the east, which then turned into a dinosaur, both ramming this triangle.
· Come to devour – the only one devouring, it appears, was the semi-truck turned dinosaur.
· Venomous snakes and vipers that bite – the dinosaur.
· People crushed – these vehicles within this triangle crushed/smashed and the cab of one of them tossed

I am praying for understanding, but lately the Lord Jesus has been showing me judgment to come on America, so I suspect that this is concerning his judgments on us. In that case, I see the triangle as either the three locations I believed he showed me in a previous vision, “The Severed Fingers,” which I saw as New York City/Manhattan, Washington, D.C. and possibly Fayetteville, NC (Fort Bragg) or another military base along the east coast in the area of NC/VA. Or, I saw the triangle and the 3 vehicles as representing our three branches of government in the US, with the executive branch possibly symbolized by this cab of the semi-truck in the triangle that was ripped off by the bite of the dinosaur.

I also had thoughts concerning the Civil War and how the south came against the north to remove the federal government’s control over the seceding states, but how the union reestablished their control (put the blockade back in place), and how the south possibly came against the union again but were defeated by the north. Yet, this is where chapter 9 comes in to play, because it says about the enemy (the vipers/dinosaur) that they “ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph in the land.” Then, we are cautioned to beware our friends and to not trust those in our own clan, for every one of them is a deceiver. We live in the midst of deception.

So, this takes me back to the dream. What I noticed about it is that it was confusing as to who was who, and what stood out to me is that we, the north, were supposed to be protecting our triangle from the advance from the south, yet in “protecting” it from invading forces we actually attacked it ourselves and we ended up smashing at least 2 of the 3 vehicles within the triangle. Also, we were a semi-truck going east to west, and then we were a dinosaur ripping off the cab of a semi-truck which was faced west. So, there is a definite picture of deception here, and it smells of another possible false flag operation within our country, made to look as though our enemy attacked and we somehow were protecting our own when in fact we ended up attacking and smashing our own. This is reminiscent of 9/11 and the subsequent wars in which we were supposedly protecting our own people.

More to come, but if you have any thoughts along these lines, please do not hesitate to share them.

Have Thine Own Way, Lord / Adelaide A. Pollard, 1862-1934
George C. Stebbins, 1846-1945 / Tune: ADELAIDE, Meter: 54.54 D

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine!

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway.
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me!

Sincerely not understanding why (in light ofjudgment being taken out on
the Son of God during His crucifixion) Jesus would 'judge' (before the final
judgment when He judges the living and the dead and sets up His new
kingdom).

The word "judge" or "judgment" has several aspects to it. There is, for instance, a judgment to come on all men during the time of tribulation that is not the same as the judgment that decides our eternal destiny. In other words, God will pour out his wrath on the earth during the time of the tribulation, in particular, but this is not the same as his wrath that sends people to hell. They are separate aspects of his judgments, in other words. Just like the Bible teaches us that it is our place to judge those within the church, and yet it preaches against hypocritical or false judgments. The word judge merely means to evaluate something and to make a decision about it based upon that evaluation. We make judgments every day of our lives - some for good and some for bad. We can be condemning in our judgments or we can be loving and just and merciful.

The Bible says that judgment begins with the house of the Lord (the church), and it tells us that we need to judge ourselves (during communion) so that we don't fall under judgment, and in Rev 2-3 Jesus addresses seven church congregations concerning their relationship with him. Only 2 out of the 7 had only positive things about them. 5 of them had negative, and only one of those had no positive at all (Laodicea). All 5 with things God had against them were told to repent of their sins or else face some type of divine chastisement (judgment). The book of Isaiah has much to say about Jesus Christ, the messianic age, the church at the end of time, God's judgments on the church, yet the revival that will come from the judgment and how the gospel will then be spread throughout the whole world and how people will flock to the kingdom of heaven, to Jesus Christ and to the gospel of Christ (the cross in our lives).

But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world. 1 Co. 11:31-32

How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb. 10:29-31

Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her. Rv. 18:7-8

So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Rm. 2:3

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. 7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
8 A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.” Rev. 14:6-8

Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. Rev. 2:5

Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Rev. 2:16

I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. Rev. 2:21-22

Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Rev. 3:2-3

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth... Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Rev. 3:15-16, 19[/QUOTE]

There is much truth in this Sue. Not long ago I was asking the Lord about a few of those who claim to belong to the Lord and He led me to this, which you may find interesting. I am glad to know He's bringing me and many others into the fullness of the church of Philadelphia which is the place all the saints must aspire to be
Regarding the churches as mentioned in Revelation...
There are many churches that fit into the Laodicean category (lukewarm), there are some that are dead (Sardis), they have an outward appearance of being alive and very Christian; however, they wield no power and is spiritually dead. The Lord wants us to ascribe to be like Philadelphia:
1.They have "a little strength ['dunamis,' ordinarily translated 'power']." Since this is meant as a tribute, we infer that He is talking about the power of godliness. Their possession of this power will set them apart from others in the Last Days who will have only the form of godliness (2 Tim. 3:5). Through the Holy Spirit, who is the source of this power, they will exhibit a character antithetical to the character of false Christians. The terms describing them will be exact opposites of the terms Paul uses in 2 Timothy 3. Instead of being lovers of self, for example, they will be lovers of God. Yet even so, their strength will be little, no doubt in comparison with the church after Pentecost. Perhaps the Lord is suggesting also that this will not be a large church.
2. Philadelphia will keep the Word of God. They will revere every word of it as inerrant truth. They will reject corrupt texts and versions. They will renounce hermeneutical approaches which belittle the supernatural. And they will study the Scriptures diligently as their rule of doctrine and practice.
3.Philadelphia will not deny the name of Christ. Under persecution, they will remain faithful to Him, and they will not demean His name by encouraging the unruly to believe that they can claim His salvation without submitting to His Lordship. In other words, they will live in the age of easy-believism, when many will use Christianity as a cloak for worldly and corrupt lives.

One quality never mentioned in the letter to Philadelphia must nevertheless be the most outstanding quality of this church, for the name Philadelphia means "brotherly love." Now the warning in James takes on added significance (James 5:8-9). "Grudging" here signifies absence of love. Let us therefore be diligent to make real and maintain our love for each other.
Despite the godly character of the Philadelphians, they will not be well-liked in the world. They will particularly suffer the persecution of a synagogue of Satan (v. 9). It was an actual synagogue of Jews that persecuted the original church of Philadelphia. They were Jews by birth, but not Jews in God's sight, for they lacked a right relationship with God. Therefore, they had no right to consider themselves the people of God (Rom. 2:28-29). What is the synagogue of Satan that will trouble Philadelphia on the eve of Christ's return? The word "synagogue" just means "assembly." The assembly of Satan is evidently a church whose members consider themselves the people of God, but are self-deceived. In reality, they do the bidding of Satan. These false Christians will cast reproach on Philadelphia and hinder its work in every way possible, perhaps even calling it a deviant or cultic form of religion. But when the time of judgment arrives, the Lord will show His approval of Philadelphia by requiring all its detractors to bow down and kiss the feet of the saints they so viciously maligned.

WOW is THAT already taking place or what? lol

Thank you Sue... I think I understand your take. I like David Guzik's points
on 1 Pe. 4:17~

"i. Now is our time of fiery trial (1 Peter 4:12); the ungodly will have their fire later. The fire we endure now purifies us;
the fire the ungodly will endure will punish them.

ii. We must always remember that there is never any punishment from God for us in our sufferings, only purification. For
the Christian, the issue of punishment was settled once and for all at the cross, where Jesus endured all the punishment
the Christian could ever face from God.

iii. The same fire that consumes straw will purify gold..."

(Forgive me... I'm coming out of a condemnation mindset [because of religion
that didn't have a proper understanding of grace] that has robbed me of
knowing the love of God in a tangible way.)

Big question mark hangs over the bolded section for me; will be studying this out more. It's been said the book of Isaiah
is a 'bible within the bible'. In one book, the entire message of the bible is written. And it must be seen as containing old
and new covenant theology... life before, after, and because of Jesus' finished work.

I do empathize with you. I was raised in a home with a father who was very legalistic while at the same time was very abusive in many ways, so there was a great conflict between all his external "religious rules" he thought we should all follow, like the Pharisees, all the while he was breaking the most important ones of all having to do with loving God and his fellow man(and woman). Yet, I learned that God disciplines in love, not in hypocrisy and hatred like my father did, and so I was able to come to an understanding of God as a loving father who corrects his children in order to purify us and to make us holy, and that is his goal in all of his divine correction (judgment; discipline; chastisement) of us. This is all through the book of Isaiah.

In the book of Revelation, after the judgment of the great prostitute it states this:

“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

The saints of God will endure the tribulation and through it they will be made ready for the wedding supper of the Lamb.

Hebrews 12:6: "...because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” (NIV)

"For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.” (NKJV)

"For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He scourges every son whom He receives.” (NASB)

"For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.” (ESV)

Also, remember again the letters to the seven churches, and that these were the only warnings given in Revelation of judgment, and the warnings were given to the church (adulterous; idolatrous), and then the judgments ensued. Yet, I believe scripture teaches that these judgments are for the purification of the church (see Isaiah).

I had a vision not too long ago that was of the american flag with the top half cut off (the stripes were there but not the stars). I believe that God was telling me that America will be cut off in some point in time. Not sure sooner or later but it will happen.

That is really interesting. Check this out (pictures the US flag with stripes only and Israel's star on the other half): Another Voice (Rev. 18:4): Obama "Unbreakable Alliance" Israel Trip, And New Pope: NWO Imitating Antichrist And False Prophet?

You are correct in saying this, Charis, and you should never apologize for speaking God's truth... that our Lord Jesus paid the full price and has given us His blood and grace and that there is no condemnation anymore. No condemnation=no judgement.

Romans 8:1-4

Therefore, there is now "no" condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be "fully" met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."

We have been forgiven all of our sins and are indeed in the ongoing santification and purification process until we die....continually being perfected and working out our salvation as Paul said.....because no one on earth is without sin no matter how hard or obedient we "think" we are. There is no full perfection on earth and no such thing as perfectly obedient otherwise we would be gaining our salvation through our own efforts and "works" and then we would be nullifying the holy purpose of our Lord Jesus' sacrifice and His intercession for us and negating the whole need for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

We will be rewarded on judgement day for;

for loving Him back because He first loved us

for trusting in faith, in all of His full purposes of His holy Son's one time sacrifice that "fully" paid for our sins and therefore fully saved us that first day we gave our hearts and lives to Him and began living under His beautiful grace and forgiveness during our lifetime.....knowing He will never withold His saving grace, love, or compassionate forgiveness as we walk in the Spirit.

for participating in partnership and companionship with the Holy Spirit to work on our perfection by what He brings us to and through in His own timing and in His own way.

for appreciating and honoring Him and what He has done for us ...so much so that we share all good things with others...beginning and ending with His love (not fear or condmenation)

Romans 8
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. (all verbs are past tense)What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one."

No one, means no one.

(Forgive me... I'm coming out of a condemnation mindset [because of religion
that didn't have a proper understanding of grace] that has robbed me of
knowing the love of God in a tangible way.) So many have wrongly suffered from the preaching of legalism and fear...and so many have been hindered from learning who our Lord Jesus Christ "really" is and what His loving intentions really are towards us. The enemy twists truth to make it seem like it is what the Word is meaning to say. But, when the Word is not seen and fully understood through eyes of His compassionate loving Holy Spirit it becomes corrupt and unknowingly seeks to condem and destroy. It is my prayer that all who believe that we are saved by our works, be set free to know the truth first in their hearts and then in their minds so that the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth retains "full and undiluted power" to reach the unsaved and to bring continual peace and grace to those who are saved. Amen

Just for the record, I am not promoting what this blogger is saying, only showing the flag (logo) for Obama's trip to Israel in relation to this dream about the stars being missing from the American flag. You can decide for yourselves prayerfully whether there is any merit to his comments.

Amen
Amen!

Several years ago I was going about my (then) 'usual' Christian life.
In the middle of a deep sleep one night, I bolted upright (from sleep)
and out of my spirit came a heart-wrenching cry: 'Lord~ we don't
know You the way you want to be known!'

I honestly thought I would die from the pain I felt. I cried (for some
time) one of deepest cries I've ever cried. From that point on my
understanding of God's love and grace has been opening up. I'm
easily grieved when God (who paid such an enormous price for the
salvation of mankind) is misrepresented.
