To kee[ it simple, Satanists dont believe in a literal satan or any spiritual being or Gods nor do they worship anything. Luciferians believe in a Satan like figure and are more inclined to worship him in some form.

To unbelievers, Christ is a type of adversary to them, but to Believers, He is the Savior. So it just depends on how he is viewed according to ones beliefs I think. Thoughts?

There are 2 different words used in the NT, Devil and Satan and this is one of the more "infamous" passages in the NT/NC of our Bible. [I think Hitler used this one?]. All "symbolic" and it helps to know the OT/OC to see what Jesus was "signifying" when He said this.

The greek word for "devil" is actually a combination of 2 greek words..."dia" and "bollos" which means "cast". I am still learing the Biblical Greek.

lol i did not know that is what the word came from... spanish is interesting because sometimes when the musilms say something in arabic here i recognize a spanish word like it... or a latin word from a catholic sounds like a spanish word... i guess our language like us reflects that we come from many backgrounds

I am translating much of it, including revelation and am finding out how much of it is "poorly/loosely" translated.

Then you would "enjoy" the Book of Revelation but it uses the WHOLE BIBLE so it helps to read through it first a few times and avoide fictional "endtime books/movies" for awhile.

Most western languages today are influenced by Latin and Greece, especially the Spanish and Italian language.
And of course we got some from the Arabic language too when the traders began travelling back and forth.
So you're right when saying that.

I learned just a few days ago that English has got alot from Swedish, and vice versa, during the 1700-1800's, when the industrial age started.

Though it is interesting to read books and texts from different faiths. Sometimes I wish there were only one language.
