Still no accountability to Rom 13:3,4 where God sanctions carrying of arms to defeat the wicked.

The Christian Church has did a grave injustice to Paul when it extracts Romans 13 from the context of Romans 12 and 14. These people want so dearly to be given permission to kill their enemies that they intentionally ignore everything else the N.T. says on the matter. Paul starts off in Rom. 12 by stating the Christians responsibility of offering the whole of their existence to God as their “reasonable” duty. He then continues to present a pattern of behavior that is totally opposite of that of the world. That pattern includes v.17 “Do not repay ANYONE evil for evil,” v.19 “Do not take revenge . . . For it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay.” And, vs. 20 “If your enemy hungers feed him . . . .” Vs. 21 “Overcome evil with good.” This is the context in which Chapter 13 must be read. We are to be submissive just as Daniel was submissive for seventy years and was blessed, but he never wavered in his loyalty to God, not even when threatened by a hungry lion. The authorities are God’s servants just as Nebuchadnezzar was God’s servant. Paul continues in 13 that we have a continuing debt to love our fellowman and to not kill him and to put away the deeds of darkness. In 14 he concludes the argument by stating that we will all have to give account of our deeds on a day which He has set aside for judgment. Vs. 22 Blessed is the man who does not CONDEMN himself by the things he approves.”

Very many have condemned themselves by their approval of killing when there is no reason. You must make a choice to either believe the simple words of the N.T. or believe national lie; choose carefully. Remember that the Devil is the deceiver of the whole world, that includes you Carl.

You seem to take the teaching in Romans 12 concerning individual behaviours and apply it to Romans 13 which relates to Civil behaviours when these are quite different issues.
Behind this is the notion of your demonising human institutions which have the unction of God working through them for the common good. Paul related to civil authority with utmost respect.

You omitted to say that God instituted armed rulership.

Well He certainly foresaw it friend and as with the vast majority of man's activity throughout history, He allows it without manipulation. Since shortly after Adam, man has taken ruler-ship over man, this world has since been ruled by monarchies of one form or another. Those having advantage over those who do not. The few fortunate over the vast majority of unfortunate. Even in this present time, the great yet short-lived experiments in freedom for both the common and the elite has been merely a ruse. Leading the way is the great American experiment soon coming to an end. The elite are fed-up with the commoner's rights and will successfully remove them soon. This is what socialism is all about.

These who rule are a law unto themselves using it to ensure their continuance. God through foreknowledge and allowance only "instituted" it. However, those who are sanctified through Christ are never to take up arms regardless. All who take up the sword will perish for eternity with the sword.

Certainly my friend. We are however living in the time of the NT which abolished the Old. It is a foregone conclusion to ask, but can you cite a single instance in the NT where violence by the Israel of God is excused, allowed, condoned or commanded?

Can the clay now judge the Potter my friend. Those who name Christ will be judged based on whether their faith was real and caused them to overcome the world in their hearts.
The NT tells us that those believers who choose to remain in the Military or Police may do so but must transfer into non combat MOS' or take desk assignments
