The Desaki Project Chapter 2

The Organics Friends

We open this Chapter with a dark sinister forest wide shot from atop a small hill so you can see the just over the top of the trees looking on to a complex lit with thousands of lights.

This screen starts out with a flashback to see a man unrecognizable because of the shadows running away from security from the compound.

In this dream sequence you can see this man running and the it fades to black where when it fades back in, it’s a bit deeper into the forest as you see him running towards the left near side of the camera from the right side of the camera at a distance

The cycle of running goes like this. (Camera looks at him and the wall just as he drops down from the wall) He starts running just as he drops down from the edge of the wall of the compound where the distance to the trees is about 100 yards. (Camera takes a Cross shot where the Trees are on one side and the compound is on the other.) It’s not long (about 20 yards) until he is spotted with a spot light and he hears screams of escape. (The moon provides lights with shadows of him and his pursuers running towards the forest) As he hits the tree line we fade to black.

Fading back from black slowly we hear an Stunning loud Hit, as Sky runs into a cloaked figure. Sky almost runs right into him but just seeing him at the last possible second he is able to stop without touching him. The screen fades to black.

Spooky Things lead to Sleepless Nights

<BEEEEEP> the first warning alarm goes off... startling Sky to conscience alertness.

Sky: Jonson, what’s going on?

Jonson: Sir, we need you right now, out here.

Sky: Just a Sec on my way...

< Sky jumps out of the bed that he is laying on and presses a couple of buttons and the bed disappears >

Sky: what’s the situation?

Jonson: we’ve been traced

Sky: how and with what?

Jonson: outside Phone Call.... it was a spook....

Fox: what’s a Spook?

Sky: Vaguely, it’s when someone calls a certain phone number, waits two to three rings and hangs up. Some people today have tracers that tag locations. You know… have Jonson fill you in later.

Fox: well, that’s not strange... I have that happen to me when I wait too long to pick up....

Jonson: Fox, We never let it ring more than twice. If we don’t get it or pick it up. Our automated system gets it....

Fox: Hmm...

Jonson: When we have a possible spook, we call the number right back to see who it was... in this case there was no number.... this indicates a trace signal.

Sky: Jonson, explain it to him later... we need to eliminate this threat Now.

Fox: Sorry sir

Jonson: sir, Yes.

Sky: Where did it come from?

Jonson: Map on One.

Jonson: Sir, We have back traced the log, it seems<pause, Jonson Grabs a Monitor and spins it to face him> here, 5392 Exkinory Widlik <Pause> It’s upstate. <He almost interrupts himself> Sir<pause> we have a problem <excited> our screens just lit up. we have inbound.

Sky: All security alert. <Pause> you all know what to do, and I’ve said before, “This is not a drill” I repeat <in a slight sarcastic Tone> “This is not a drill”

<A couple of moments pass by>

<Sky Checks some Monitors and starts toward the Door.>

Finding the Strength to Fight

Fox: Sir... I’m here...

Sky: I need you with me and Jonson right now. <Looks at Jonson standing behind Fox.> Get Ame down here too. <Small Pause><slightly said to self> I need to know who these people are.

Jonson: Sir?… Ame?

Sky: I need her with us; she’s invaluable to this mission. Please don’t ask questions unless you know what I’m talking about.

Jonson: Sir, <pause> sorry Sir.

Sky: Let’s Go! We can’t let any one of them near here. Where are they at now and where do they seem to be heading?

Jonson: One min.

Sky: Jonson you know better than that.... hurry up. We’ll meet you outside. Fox lets go.

Fox: Sir

<Sky running to the Door Fox follows and trips on a cord, pulling out headphones from someone’s ears and jack.... >

Fox: what in the....

<Sky hears Fox as he is standing at the door waiting for Fox, he turns around and sees Gurny sitting at his computer half sliding out of his chair trying to pick up his headphones with out getting out of his chair>

Sky: Gurny, come with us. You just volunteered. Jonson Stay here, you have command.

Gurny: <slightly surprised> yes sir.

<So the three, Gurny Fox and sky head down the corridor to an elevator. Just as they get to the elevator sky turns to Fox >

Sky: Fox wait here <Pause> wait for Ame, she’s not a fighter<pause> she will need you to fight for her. I’m sure that she’ll tell you why in the course of the following events.

Fox: Sir I don’t know what she looks like.

Sky: remember that girl you bumped into in the hall... that’s her.

Fox: whaaah<elevator shuts> hey, how did you.... ah never mind

Running Away To The Enemy

< Fox leans up against the elevator doors... a couple of moments pass and then the elevator doors open with Fox leaning on them. He falls in on Ame. >

Ame: so we meet again.... I must apologize for me being so rude before... I just got so focused and didn’t want to stop... sorry.

Fox: No, it’s ok.

Ame: so do you know what’s going on?

<Doors shut, Fox just in time pulling his foot out of the way. >

Fox: we were traced... <Ame hit’s top-level button>and we were called to eliminate the threat. That’s all I know. <Fox picks himself up off Ame>

Ame: that’s odd... is Jonson with sky?

Fox: no, it’s me and Gurney and Sky.

Ame: what... O no. That’s not good

Fox: what do you mean....?

<Door dings>

Ame: later... we need to go and help Gurney.

<Door opens>

Ame: let’s go

Fox: what’s wrong with Gurney?

< They both come to a wide-open plot of land. Fox turns around just in time to see the last of the elevator disappear underground >

Ame: he could die if we don’t hurry.

Fox: how do you know?

Ame: if we have time later I will explain it to you… but now we have to help him.

<Jonson speaks through Fox’s MacroBot.>

Jonson: Fox, are you there.... to run the communicator just hit the green button

<Fox looks for the Green button finding it on the underside of the bot slightly hidden. >

Fox: Jonson what is it…

Jonson: Do you know where you’re going?

Fox: no, I’m just following Ame.

Jonson: well, you are going in the wrong direction.

Ame: Jonson what do you know.

Jonson: well comparatively more than you right now.

Ame: you know, I know, What’s going on just as much as you, if not more... if there’s something that I don’t know about tell me Jonson

Jonson: well, it’s just that you’re headed away for Sky and Gurney.

Ame: I know...

<Fox stop dead slides a lit on the gravel.>

Fox: wait. If there over there... we need to go to them.

<Ame stops and turns toward Fox>

Ame: you have to trust me... they will be fine until they get up to this point... they need us here first.

Fox: I dont’ know if they’ll last...

Ame: Sky can handle this all on his own... but Gurney will die in the process... if we don’t help him. He’ll never make it.

Fox: I don’t understand.

Ame: let’s go.

< Ame runs on, Fox takes a second and follows>

****ey come up to an old section of Commercial area(it’s very dark) and then Ame stops while Fox stops right behind her.>

Ame: Here!.... Fox Hide... now Move!

Fox: What,... why...

<Ame Grabs Him and pushes him>

Ame: Go Now!

Fox: ok fine

< Ame finds a portion of alley and Fox hide behind and slightly under a car.>

<Ame through the MacroBot says>

Ame: Fox, there are going to be 6 Ganics coming around the Northwestern Corner... we need to make sure that, that’s the farthest they get...

Fox: ok, can you help in some way?

Ame: I’m not a fighter... I can only cure and heal... I don’t fight.

Fox: well could you at least through something at them.

Ame: Fox... I have enough trouble with people back at Central... please don’t start.

Fox: sorry

Ame: here they Come

<Fight>

Ame: good now we have the other.

Fox: what other one.

< From behind the Corner comes a Gigantic Monster... its name is kurai nesso.>

Ame: it’s called Kurai Nesso.

Fox: how do you know that?

Ame: I can talk to it... it hears me... and I hear it.

Fox: ask it to stop... and turn away...

Ame: he’s looking for something and he was told that we have it.... he was sent to find it...

Fox: tell him we don’t have it...

Ame: he can understand what you say... just talk to it and I’ll tell you what he says...

Fox: Hey, Nasso we don’t have what you are looking for...

Nasso through Ame: yes you do.

Fox: I’m sorry I should have asked what is it you’re looking for.

Ame: that’s smart...

Nasso: you know what it is?

Fox: no, that’s why I’m asking you... what is it, that you’re looking for.

Nasso: if you don’t know than you must give back.

Fox: What is it.... what do we have that your looking for....?

Nasso: spirit.

Nasso: I leave now. You not help get me what is mine.

Fox: No please you can’t we need to talk to you a moment.

Nasso: you not let me go?

Fox: we need to talk.

Nasso: Nasso, Upset.... first you will not give back what is mine and then you say Nasso can’t go. Prepare yourself

<Fight Nasso: can use “Chaos Therioum” and “Of Dead” >

Nasso: why, all want is Spirit.

<Nasso Dies>

Fox: why I didn’t want to fight him.

Ame: I know, but he was confused and there was nothing I could say to help him or you. He was so adamant about getting that “spirit” back.

Fox: do you know what he was talking about when he said spirit....

Ame: no not really all’s I saw in him was anger...but what I do know is it was because of that missing spirit.

< Sky runs up behind Ame with Gurny close behind.>

Sky: there you Guys are.... why are you over here? and What is that?

Ame: Fox killed Nasso because he attacked and there was nothing that was going to stop him...

Fox: I’m sorry, I did everything I could to stop him from advancing while I tryed to talk to him

Sky: it’s ok Fox, we all know how these Organics can be.... very stubborn and never changing.

Fox: you can say that again

Ame: I’m glad you’re alright Gurny

Gurny: what do you mean Miss Ame?

Ame: I’m just glad you’re ok....

< Sky turns to Ame and smiles>

Sky: thanks for saving our butts Fox.

Fox: what?

Sky: Ame, Does he know?

Ame: he speculates

Sky: that’s ok for now

Ame: yeah.

<Sky through MacroBot>

Sky: Jonson, do we know who did that?

Jonson: we’re working on it... we have traced the back signal to an abanded warehouse south of town... on 790th and lakefront.... it came through a multitude of other phone lines....

Sky: ok keep searching but in the mean time we’re going to go and check out, 790 & Lakefront you know what to send out right?

Jonson: I’m on it.

Fox: now what... I’m beginning to get tired of surprises.... there quite annoying.

Sky: Hold on Fox you might like this one.

< A small craft in the shape of a triangle flies toward them at a high rate of speed>

Jonson: 30 sec to arrival.

Sky: thanks Jonson.... ok guys put on you exo-suits.

< All four put on there exo-suits just as the package arrives...... and set’s down in front of them>

Sky: ok for the two of you Fox and Gurny... You put this on like this.... on your access panel of your macroBot there is an interface... you take the cord from the jet.... and place it in this interface...

Fox: did you say Jet?

Gurny: yeah, I would also like to know the answer to that Question.

Sky: don’t be afraid... Jonson has these things set on autopilot and we are all going to the same place.

Fox: is it safe?

Sky: Fox come on... please don’t ask that... I would never subject you to anything that I know would kill you.

Fox: somehow that doesn’t make me feel any better

Sky: just do it... unless you want to run and that would take hours even if you could sprint for 65 miles

Fox: well, I’ll do anything once.

Sky: good.... Ame you ready to go?

Ame: yep lets go.

Sky: ok we’ll see you there. Bye and have a fun ride

< Ame and Sky take off...>

Fox: man, this is beginning to be a day.

Gurney: your telling me... I got a program running at home that I should have shutdown

Fox: (snickers) Lets Go.

Gurny: ok I’m ready

< Movie sequence>

<Plop Gurny and Fox arrive at the warehouse>

Fox: Wow, was that a ride.

Sky: You like that?

<Sky appears from the darkness>

Fox: whoooh, tells us when your going to sneak up on us like that

Sky: then that wouldn’t be sneaking now would it?

Sky: Jonson, I need info.

Jonson: South side... second door. Watch out there are allot of boxes in this warehouse.

Sky: Ok Move out, now run silent.

Ame: I’m going to stay out here.

Sky: Gurney stays with her....

Gurney: ok

Sky: fox, you’re with me...

< They go to the south entrance near a light that is flickering... slightly... until Sky opens the door then it goes completely out.>

Sky: I don’t really like that omen. But you know what we have to do...Lets Go.

Fox: Well, It’s all or nothing from here on out

< They slowly enter the building as the door behind them closes and fox tries to open it…>

Fox: well, who ever wanted us here knows were here and has us right where they want us

Sky: Fox, Don’t patronize me.

Fox: Sorry I didn’t mean anything by it

Sky: be quiet

< They walk along the edge of the north boxes as they walk they hear noises from around the corner that they are standing next to. Sky holds up 1 finger… puts it down and holds up three… Fox nodes. And three seconds later they jump out in front of this giant Monster with small legs and feet.>

<Fight>

<End fight sequence>

Just at a certain point before Johaches die’s Ame and Gurney Show up in the battle

As a final effort to live Johaches Picks up every one and throws them through a glass sunroof like structure that has already been broken…

Sky: Hit the Packs Quick!

<as they hit there switches for there jetpacks Johaches Explodes in a fire ball.>

Sky: Jonson, we are going to go to the nearest hotel… you look for who is doing this… I figure that if we stay out here we won’t attract attention to the underground… and plus many people have seen us and are still watching.

Jonson: Sir, it may take some time.

Sky: I know, take all the time you need we are going to rest until morning.

Jonson: Take Care, Sir

Sky: yes thank you Jonson. Ok guys and Gal lets move out… and down sometime soon our packs are almost out.



cut scene with Ame and Sky..... Balcony scene late at night in the heart of (Name of City)

there are staying at a Hotel... when Ame comes to sky’s room



<Knock at the Door>

Sky: just a moment.

Ame from outside

Ame: No take your time.

<Sky opens Door>

Sky: now why should I do that?

<Ame Smiles as she enters>

Sky: So how are you on this wonderful night?

<Ame walks over to the Fireplace and looks at it... longing for it to be lit.>

Ame: not so wonderful

Sky: I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be rude.

Ame: no it’s ok you didn’t know

<Ame sits on the Couch>

Sky: did you want something to drink?

Ame: water is nice.

<sky runs to the bar>

Sky: two waters it is.

Ame: you know it’s and endless wonder how you can be so perky in a time such as this

Sky: what do you mean?

Ame: never mind.

Sky: no please tell me.

< Ame stand and starts toward the Balcony... and in the middle of her sentence she turns to look at sky and cannot find him>

Ame: this world, I mean it’s all going to hell...and there’s nothing that I can do about it... though I want to.... hey were did you Go?

<sky standing on the balcony with the two glasses on the end table... looking up to the stars the he can see.>

Sky: you know your right... there’s nothing that we can do.... but your wrong...... we Can’t do anything to help those who have choosen a path... those who have there mind set ... whether it be an evil or good path... I can’t judge them for what they have chosen. but what I can do is show them a direction..... you know before yesterday I had no idea that what was out there is there for a reason... with Jonson and Central.....Eddie... ..... but there was nothing I could do..... they came while we were Gone. I didn’t know that they would be defenseless..... I tried to tell them how to help themselves.... but I didn’t teach them enough..... I was still there teacher when then needed to think for themselves.... my timing and my plans were all what I wanted.... nothing of what they needed...... and they died because of it.....

Ame: Sky that’s not what I meant...

Sky: no I know that, but it’s still true.

<Pause>

Ame: no it’s not

Sky: what?

Ame: you taught them how to protect themselves when no one else would<pause> for that matter<Pause> when no one else could. Eddie... you took him from a poor Crack house and made him a “Techy”.... a genius behind a computer

Sky: humph, one man..... And he wasn’t there to do the drugs he was there to fight them off....

Ame: I know given the harsh reality of things … things suck... but what you have done is nothing to be ashamed of.

Sky: yeah, what, how could you know what it’s like to help people and to leave others at bay waiting to die....... for me I had to pick and choose ... there was no middle.... It was those that made it and the others died.

Ame: but it wasn’t your fault.

Sky: I know, “stop thinking like it was.... stop thinking ‘What if’.” I know that ... But what about there lives.....why did I have to choose?

Ame: you know, I can remember something from way back when,… when a Boy once told me to never think of the past as a tangible thing but of a book.... something that you can’t change..... even with a pen.... you can write over top of it but you can never change what was originally there.

Sky: you think that an old school boy is going to make the deaths of friends feel any better?

Ame: that “School boy” was you. I can remember it.

Sky: if there is some thing that you need I will be in bed.

<Sky walks into the living room then towards the bedroom.>

Sky: Ame, I enjoyed your company. thank you.

<Ame Nodes and smiles>

<Sky enters the bedroom, while Ame sits on the couch.>

< Sky thinks>

“If there were some more security barriers...we could have.....”

“Nothing without something isn’t anything at all”

“Does Ame really care about me that much.......”

<Ame thinks to self>

“That Book he keeps reading.... it has no title...at least none that I can see......”

“If only he knew....”

“What the Book can do for him..............”

“I may need to get that book from him and read it myself... I think it’s the cause of all these changes “

< Ame and Sky fall asleep>

< The next morning Fox walks in to Sky’s Hotel room...>

Fox: Sky! Sky! We need to get..... AME! Excuse me

Ame: Fox your fine.... I just fell asleep here.....

Fox: where’s sky?

Ame: sky is in his room

Sky: what’s going out here.

<Sky opens the Door>

Sky: Fox, Ame? What is it?

Fox: I didn’t know that Ame stayed here last night and I came to tell you that she wasn’t answering her door.

Sky: she did?

Ame: I fell asleep on your comfy Couch

Sky: is that all Fox?

Fox: no, we go a surveillance feed on our Command... and there are still people alive in there.

Sky: what? Are they searching for them?

Fox: no, <pause> they are not.

Sky: what did you hack into?

Fox: the northwest suppository.... they have many Cam’s throughout (Name of City)

Sky: we have to go and help them.

Ame: yea.

Fox: no, if we do they will surely fire on us again.... that’s what they want us to do... is come and help the wounded.

Sky: Fox, I know what you say is true...... but there is nothing that is going to change my mind.

Fox: Sir.... if we go back we will not ever have the chance to Come back........... you know what I mean!

Sky: Fox, Sometimes you just have to have a little Faith.... you know as well as I do that there’s no way that we could make it.... but were still alive now.... and there is someone watching over us .......I can feel it.

Fox: what?

Sky: Go and Get Gurney.... we need him to get us a map of the wreckage.

Fox: sir...

Sky: please Fox, Just do it.

<Fox leaves without saying another word>

Sky: Ame, you know that book I have been reading .....

Ame: yeah, I was going to ask you about it.

Sky: well, it’s the bible..... I have read thought it a couple of times and I can see parallels in this timeline...... our lives our not our own...... you see.... a man they call Christ came to exist for one purpose and that was to save us all..... not our lives but our souls.... and someday he will give us new lives.... , see almost 2100 years ago supposedly a man came from God... to a woman who was a virgin.... she had never been with a man but was to be married. she gave birth to a boy with out ever being with a man......this Boy seemed to learn of things very fast... but that’s the thing I don’t’ think he needed to learn at all.... on some days that were distinguished as “ Sabbath days” which were holy... because.. well... he went to the synagogues the temples.... where men would sit and listen to men talk about there religion.....

Ame: I knew it was that book.

Sky: well, Ame He Grew up....and opposed the social structure of the day... because they said that if you followed there law you would get into heaven... and see that’s the thing Heaven is God’s and it was man’s law... you know were all not perfect...right... people die..... I and you make mistakes.... and God is perfect right.....well how can we get into a perfect place..... to live with a perfect God.... Ame there is only one God and there is only one way to that God......

that man, they called Jesus..... was brought before the courts of that day.... and judged .... judged for being a king..... as he clamed...... men were angry at him because he defied them..... he told them that they had sinned..... that they had done wrong in the eyes of the lord.... that if they didn’t change.... they would never see what they clamed that they would see someday.

they killed that man..... they took him and nailed him to two woodened post in the shape of a plus sign.... which they called a cross.... and let him die....... for no reason.... just because of some men hated him...... now why is that..... bad... because he was God... he feed Many people when they were hungry.... he brought a man for death to life..... ..... Ame I want you to read this book..... I want you to make a promise to me.... that you will read this book before we go back to central..... please....

Ame: I don’t know.... I mean.... I have seen what reading this has done to you......

Sky: Ame, look at me.... was I any different when I wasn’t reading this book?

Ame: well, I guess not....

Sky: but I tell you, I am....

and that’s is why I want you to read this.

< hands the Book to her.>

Ame: you are.... I will.

<Fox rushes in>

Fox: it’s Gurney... I can find him

Sky: you checked.....

Fox: I checked everywhere.... he isn’t anywhere to be found....

Sky: and he’s not dumb enough to leave without us...... I hope

Fox: well, sir I did tell him before I informed you about the surveillance...

Ame: he went back.....

Sky: no.... *disgust look

Sky : Fox, can you tap in from here?

Fox: sure can... I’m on it

Sky: Ame now’s the time to read.

Fox: bypassing central command protocol

Fox: taping

Fox: Sir, I’ve been traced!

< Turns to look at fox>

<Quickly fires a shot in the wall....>

<booom, Sky blasts a three foot hole in the wall where the Phone connection was established.>

Fox: it’s too late they already had me....

Sky: I know

Sky: let’s move.... were in trouble here. Go and grab your gear... Fox grab Gurny’s ..... Ame meet me back here... Fox meet us up at room 23003 and we’ll head to the roof

< Camera breaks into a flash as we go to a screen of a hallway were Fox is running down as Sky and Ame are running up to each other... they Both reach room 23003 and with out saying a word Sky opens the Door and walks in. and throws all his stuff onto the Couch... Note: all the rooms look the same except for the Balconies. >



Sky: ok, we have a problem there is about twenty minutes before our location is known… We have five to come up with a plan to get out of this situation.

Fox: Well, running right down the middle is a little out of the Question….

< The room is silent for what seems like for ever… yet Sky stands there for a moment. >

Sky: Fox, your smarter than you look.

Fox: (knowing Immediately what Sky was thinking) Sir, you have got to be kidding… there’s no way we can out gun, Number, or even maneuver these men.

Sky: Your wrong… we have something that they don’t…

Fox: What?

Sky: the Jetpacks

Fox: the only way that we could get them is if we were on the roof… and we are far from it and with these people looking for us…. I’m sure they are right now combing the halls looking for us….you can’t be serious…

Sky: your wrong… we can get them from right here.

<Sky presses a few buttons on his Macrobot>

Sky: this should only take four to six seconds.

<as they all hear the jets they look over the balcony to see four Packs Flying up from the street.>

Sky: lets Go! <Checking his Fuel gage> I just have enough to get to the top of this building and maybe alittle extra so you shouldn’t be too far off.

Fox: Right!

Ame: yep

Sky: ok

<Cut Scene : Sky in the middle Fox off to the left Ame off to the right they hit there packs Sky, Ame, Fox shooting straight up toward the camera while the camera Follows them Up. (Stationary camera)>

<Cut scene : looking at the top of the Hotel the camera Zooms in from a total shot to a shot of the Group walking with the jet packs on to a door in the middle of the roof>

Sky: Now, there are 8 people we need to find, there’s not a lot of time as I’m sure once the Sweep of the building has been completed they may start asking questions, or killing people … I hope in that order. At least that’s what I’m counting on.

Fox: So Now that we have bought ourselves some time we are still on a budget, this is getting good.

Sky: layoff the sarcasm. <Sighs> Ame, what do we have? I need some options.

Ame: well there’s not a lot to work with but we maybe able to get down the elevator shafts with these ropes and harnesses and these clam hooks. They should suffice as efficient “Stoppers” when we reach the elevator.

Sky: let’s do it. You have pulled me out of another pickle.

Ame: Nothing to it
