Deciding to embrace A or B is a decision made by evaluating information. Newborns do not evaluate theistic claims, pro or con.
No, but their parents take them to church and enforce religion on them before they can evaluate any of those concepts.
Then make that choice, right now, to believe that every god to date is simply a product of the human imagination.
Sorry, but I'm not seeing how this addressed the OP at all.
Perhaps you should message them and ask if they would participate?

Just, you are welcome in any thread of mine![]()
Yes, that was rather pointless.
Whatever we are born with, it's more like an extension of our basic morality, which has evolved into a double headed beast. Too much of one = 9/11 too much of the other = mind numbing cruelty etc. etc. :
'....Nobel Prize winner Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was asked to account for the great tragedies that occurred under the brutal Soviet communist regime he and fellow citizens suffered under.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn offered the following explanation:
Over a half century ago, while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of old people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.' Since then I have spend well-nigh 50 years working on the history of our revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed eight volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.'....'
Atheism and Theism is the default setting.
And you in mine, self. Seriously, you're one of my favorite posters in the room.
I'm not sure, again, how this relates to the default position.
I'm sorry, and I swear I'm not being intentionally dense here.
Their charter was revoked 2,000 years ago. But I'll suggest to you that some of early man's polytheistic beliefs may have been based on more than just imagination.
