I'm asking for a rational justification for your beliefs. How do you know Jesus was actually "the way, the truth and the life"?

So you say but do you really expect a believer of 60 years to fall down at the feet of an atheist and confess they have got it al wrong? if you do, then you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

As for justification that is God's prerogative as in

Would he? How do you know especially as you don't believe that he existed. How can a person who does not exist expect better of you?

I'm working within your belief system here. If I was arguing from your position, I'd be ashamed of myself if I carried on the way you have for the last few pages.

If you are supposed to be out spreading the good news to the masses, it goes without saying that you'd want to be a good representative of your faith. You are not fulfilling that biblical mandate.

I never asked you to confess that you got anything wrong in my previous post.

I asked you to justify your belief that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. How do you know that's true? If you can provide some kind of rational argument for why you believe, that would give me something to work with in accepting your views.

There is no universally accepted logical proof that God exists.

If a ruddy great meteorite the size of a double decker bus one day fell from the sky, inexplicably hitting the ground at only 0.01 miles an hour, and thus killing nobody, and was discovered to be engraved with the entire text of the King James bible, and the words "I'm warning you. I am merciful. But this really is your last chance.", not even THIS would be enough to convince an awe-challenged person that God existed, who didn't WANT God to exist desperately enough to advance with smugness the arguments we have read here.

There will be those who die complacent that IF there is a Day of Judgment, they will be able to counterclaim against the Judge of All the Earth in the tort of negligence in His own court, for allowing children to die of cancer and failing to provide a logical proof of His own existence, before, or even ON that day, that satisfies THEIR sense of what is "logical" and appeals to their gut-sense of what is "true", though they have no more "logical" reason for preferring truth to a myth they find subjectively comforting and effective in restraining man's inhumanity to man than anybody else.

Ask any former Ice addict and they will tell you that they are grateful for those who told them the truth. Atheism can't do this because you are free to do as you please according to them so if you destroy yourself with drugs kay sera sera. One less to worry about in the survival of the fittest.

if you don't like what atheists you don't know are saying, the best thing to do is to stop them saying what they are saying. I am only quoting their words after 10 years of the study of atheism. I guess that will be a problem for you because you don't know them. Ah well. Kay sera sera.

Whose words? What study? Why are you carelessly generalizing to all atheists?

I think that you are being dishonest with us, and are possibly even an atheist poster trying to make Christians look bad.
