There are multiple definitions of sin in the scripture. Anything that is not of faith. The good that you know you should do but don't. There are also many sins and abominations mentioned by the prophets. For example; drunkenness and gluttony.

Sin is transgression of the law, actually means, the entire law.

Jesus rose on the third day. If Jesus was in the tomb for a full three days and nights, then logically, Jesus could not have risen on the third day!

How can there be two Sabbaths in a week?

A Sabbath is a seventh day. You cannot have two seventh days in a week.

Something is deeply wrong in your interpretation.

It has been taught that Jesus died on Good Friday and rose early Sunday morning.

Not exactly.
The empty tomb was discovered on the 3rd day, in the early hours of the morning after the Sabbath.
No one knows exactly when Jesus rose.

As a result of this teaching, man instituted the holiday called Easter. On Easter Sunday you have Christians, world wide paying tribute to a day, in which they believe Jesus, was resurrected.

The day when the empty tomb was discovered and the world could see that he had been raised.

In researching the scriptures one will find that the whole concept of Jesus dying on a Friday and being resurrected on Sunday is contrary to the bible itself.

Well I haven't looked into it that closely, but we know that he died just before the Sabbath. Which is the 7th day of the week, which was the equivalent of our Saturday, even though it wasn't called that then. And we know that the Sabbath was from 6pm-6a.m - i.e it would have started at 6pm on the equivalent of our Friday - and Jesus was crucified at around 3 in the afternoon.

Nothing - Easter is about the death and resurrection of Jesus, not his birth.
Rabbits and eggs are symbols of new life. Eggs because they may not look like much but can hatch into chicks - i.e they have new life within them. And presumably rabbits because they breed prolifically or may do so in Spring - also a season of new life.

Furthermore, when did rabbits start laying eggs?

When has anyone even hinted that they believe rabbits can lay eggs???

Maybe. But rabbits, eggs, hot cross buns and candles can all represent the Easter story, or part of it
- new life, the cross on a bun, which is spiced to represent the spices taken to the tomb, Jesus, light of the world, and so on.

Again, maybe.
But Christians do not worship some pagan god but celebrate the Son of God being raised from the dead.

Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after March 20th,

No, the date of Easter Sunday varies depending on when the Jewish Passover is that year.
This year, it's on April 4th - next year it could be later or even before March 20th.

Jesus celebrated a final Passover meal with his friends, and was crucified on the day the Passover lamb was being killed. So Easter is linked with Passover - not with pagan orgies.

The Easter sunrise service, that is practiced in many Christian churches, can be traced back to the ancient pagan custom of welcoming the sun god at the vernal equinox

It wouldn't matter if it could be - the service is held at SON rise; the Son has risen. It was just before sunrise, i.e while it was still dark, that the women went to the tomb.

It was a time to celebrate the return of life and reproduction to animal and plant life as well. Worship of the sun god at sunrise is the religious ritual condemned by the Lord as recorded in Ezekiel 8:15-18.

Why do you say that Christians would want to celebrate the birth of sun gods, pagan goddesses, indulge in pagan orgies - or even think of doing those things?

Again, why are you making a link between Jesus' empty tomb being discovered by women, and then Jesus' disciples, and non believers who choose to worship a sun god, (not that there are any other gods)?

IF someone were to come and preach another Jesus who was different from the one that Paul preached ......
The apostles preached that Jesus of Nazareth, the eternal Word made flesh and Son of God, was the Messiah. Jesus may have been a common name then, but they preached no other Jesus.

The cultural damage done by spreading this fallacious story about the origins of Easter/Pascha is kind of amazing isn't it? People can believe that a uniquely English/Germanic term for the feast is derived from a Babylonian Goddess while not being called that anywhere else in the Christian world for the exact same feast. It took centuries for the term Easter to emerge in association with the feast of the resurrection, yet people unironically believe that's how we can explain Easter.

They then proceed to attach more significance to the secular cultural embellishments than anything represented in the worship of Churches during their Easter Liturgies/services. I would sincerely implore those with an Anti-Easter spirit, actually look into the history of the feast instead of believing this cultural myth.

You are wrong. It says for that Sabbath (the weekly Sabbath) was a "high day"...that was the 15th of Nisan. He died on the preparation day...Friday. The eyewitnesses on the road to Emmaus prove the timeline.

we pretending that Sunday worship and Easter are not combine today.
C'mon Bro, why would some vanquished god from a culture that turned to dust long ago own a word or a day used for worship today? Who thinks of conquered pagan gods on Easter Sunday? No one but you guys trying to give the day back to the pagans. Easter means what people think it means now not then.

An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign...is that you? He never told them the end game...his Resurrection! The eyewitnesses on the road to Emmaus disprove your timeline!

How can there be two Sabbaths in a week?
Because it was a High Sabbath *John 19:31. In this case, the high Sabbath was a regular weekly Sabbath day that coincided with the Passover festival. It was a “double Sabbath” to the weekly Sabbath, which was normally observed, that included the first day of the Passover feast, Nissan 15, which also carried the solemnity of a Sabbath (see Leviticus 23:7–15). So Jesus was crucified on the day before a high Sabbath. Because the Jews did not want Jerusalem desecrated on such a holy day as a high Sabbath, they petitioned the governor that the bodies of Jesus and those crucified with Him be taken down before evening (see Deuteronomy 21:22–23).

So this thread has a sabbath agenda? May I suggest it would be better placed in the sabbath forum. Christ rests on the Sabbath through his death, if I want to obtain sabbath rest I'll seek it from the only one who can give it to me. There is no explicit NT verse to observe the letter of the Sabbath law.

German word for resurrection Archives - Truth Snitch

“Because the English Anglo/Saxon language originally derived from the Germanic, there are many similarities between German and English…The English word Easter is of German/Saxon origin and not Babylonian as Alexander Hislop falsely claimed. The German equivalent is Oster. Oster (Ostern being the modern day equivalent) is related to Ost which means the rising of the sun, or simply in English, east. Oster comes from the old Teutonic form of auferstehen / auferstehung, which means resurrection, which in the older Teutonic form comes from two words, Ester meaning first, and stehen meaning to stand. These two words combine to form erstehen which is an old German form of auferstehen, the modern day German word for resurrection.”

A "High Sabbath" is two Sabbaths (an annual Feast sabbath and the weekly Sabbath of God's 4th commandment).
Yes, but they both fall on the seventh day. Otherwise, they are not Sabbaths. The Sabbath day is the seventh day of the week.

A high Sabbath is on exactly the same day as the Sabbath.

It is called a "High Sabbath" David because it does not always fall on the "seventh day" weekly Sabbath of God's 4th commandment. The difference between the ceremonial annual sabbaths in the Feast days and God's 4th commandment of the 10 commandments is that the annual sabbaths are linked directly to the annual Feasts and not a particular constant static day. This means that the annual sabbaths can fall on any day of the week depending on the yearly cycle. While God's 4th commandment of the 10 commandments *Exodus 20:8-11 is only linked directly to the "seventh day" of the week as a memorial of creation pointing back to Genesis 2:1-3. When the annual ceremonial sabbath falls on a "seventh day" weekly Sabbath it is called a "High Sabbath" - John 19:31.

That last part I'm not so sure about, a gospel supposedly discovered it 1886. I always believe that God being almighty and power, that the Bible is all we need for salvation. But I want thank you for some good understanding.

It is not the Bible that gives Eternal Life.

It is The promised Messiah that gives Eternal Life.

You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

I will add, there are many beliefs that are not based in The Bible, that have worked there way into the current visible church and the visible church is mostly man lead. But that can be different for each denomination, one thing is for certain the current visible church is not in unity.

No, it is from sunset to sunset.
Shabbat Shalom

Ok, but it was not from midnight - midnight.
The soldiers broke the legs of the 2 thieves so they would die quicker and the bodies not be left on the cross during the Sabbath. The women were prevented from anointing the body straight away because it was the Sabbath.
The mention of the Sabbath places the crucifixion, as far as I can see, on the equivalent of our Friday.
