Studying the day of the Lord and would like to add to these better, this is my first pass on it, and I am (for the most part) comparing various verses of scripture that appear to speak like manner. If anyone else could post more I might not have thought of so I could make further comparisons please do, I am interested

How some of these are worded below, is what I was looking at...

Jerm 17:16 As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest : that which came out of my lips was right before thee.

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,


Isaiah 9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.


Zep 1:7-8 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.


Strange apparel, not clothed with meekness? Or Christ in that sense? Given the proud are everywhere in these. Whereas again, he says "seek meekness" it may be that ye shall be hid in the day of his anger.


Zep 2:2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Whereas it speak here of the same....

I know I got to work on this, thats why I am posting this here, need to find far better comparisons and work this out, I'll remove, add in and readjust accordingly but could use more verses, so feel free to post more in, because this is become of interest to me again

Great! Just start with the first two...but realize you may have a few people jump in with their view.

I always saw a connection between the day of the Lord, and the Lord's wrath that was to come upon the earth

Paul spoke alot about the wrath of God, and even how we are not appointed to it.

1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

But I always wondered if the hour of temptation the Lord spoke of in Revelation 3:10 had something to do with the wrath to come upon the world? Because Jesus said "Because you have kept the word of my patience, I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

The Great Day of the Lord is when an announcement comes that shatters the hearts of the people on earth. It breaks them down to a humble status when they realize how they've been deceived, after the Son of perdition is exposed. This abomination of a prophetic beast uses the abbreviation "SOP" so to confuse and masquerade as something Holy. This "SOP" (aka 'urban~folk' "SOB") stands for Son Of Perdition that comes under "Veil" as the Spirit Of Prophecy.

This SOP currently has a home here in the world and in a mainstream denomination... dare to guess who? This one is "diverse" and different from the other beasts in Revelation. It's noted as a daughter of the Mother of Harlots. But which one? She's "diverse" and very subtle as the serpent is the authority in this church where his "seat" is.

There are many deceptions that no man may see all and find his way to heaven without a Redeemer. We need a Savior and we cannot go home unless we have the Son of God with us and He is the True Spirit of Prophecy. The Son Of Perdition is already here, as we're told he will be exposed; this said, he's already here.

The world is blind to his identity until the appointed time in Prophecy when the Last-day message, aka the Elijah message will come like a Rock from heaven and smite the foundation of every corrupt government and society and then the children of God may be led back home into the Promised Land that was Promised to their Fathers.

This message comes as many things, a Loud Trumpet, a Lion's Roar, a Voice from Heaven, and a Mighty Hand that throws a stone as with the "Sling of David" when the "Stone" was launched not from David's hand but from a multiplier of Force, ELOHIM, and with precision accuracy (sharp bladed sword-words) that hit the Giant (SOP) in the forehead where it kills the beast intellectually, and the mindset of this power in captives will be broken down, as well.

The 144,000 (symbolic quantity) is raised up who are given the Spirit of the Father among them and they go to battle this Fierce Beast and they do prevail over the beast and God is renowned as Daniel says (coming soon).

The mark of beast "6-6-6" is defeated by this Elijah message and makes way a path for God's people to return to Him in Spirit by Receiving His SEAL of "7-7-7" that must include all of HIM that is found in ALL 77 canons. This is why we must read even the Gnostic writings in order to be FULLY informed so that we can make our OWN-Fully Informed decisions.

This day, the Giants of Politics and Religion will stand corrected by a simple man with little education. Just like in the movie "Idiocracy". There's a number of mocks in media and this is what brainwashes the viewers. We have a hidden epidemic and we, being deceived are watching the very things that has created the beasts that we are today, we are what we eat in every aspect. This said, If we are told that we are going Home to a world better known as Heaven or Paradise then we should realize that we must leave this place as we are told to prepare for. We will be reversing our "Polarity" so that we can return to the Heaven of opposite polarity then this present world. It Is this warning that satan is preventing the world from hearing. he has found millions of ways to close our eyes and ears and this is why we need a Savior that will show us the way Home.

The Day of the Lord is coming very quickly, this day, simple observation of current issues and crisis' indicate that things are not getting better, rather they get worse before the Great Day of the Lord. It will be Glorious and Great for those who know Him and His Will, while it will be the worst nightmare for those who cling to their present testimony that was slain already [Rev chapter 11]. This prophecy has passed and forgotten, and disassociated with proper world history and/or believed to be a far-off future event.

We are here NOW, not yesterday or tomorrow and we must know what is about to strike this world and know who it is and why it is, otherwise the world will fight against itself and the adversary goes by without being detected. The devil has this world fighting over nothing more than lies and he lives as long as this world continues as it is, DECEIVED!

Thanks bro Seems to but not sure, keep turning around patience, and hour but the verse you posted can somewhat be seen in hour shown in the evil servant as well, but its like trying to pull together in what way He is speaking yet, and Im not sure, because he says "hour" for instance, and I posted this before, but being sober (belongs to the day, or the children of the day) whereas sleeping (and saying in ones heart, My Lord delayeth his coming) is shown beating your fellowservant (and speaks of eating and drinking with the drunken) but also of another day and hour (likewise).

I cant get the hour of temptation, through wrath the land darkened and no man shall spare his brother (it says) but theres a keeping from wrath and it speaks of seeking meekness (perhaps you might be hid) then theres all these proud arrogant ones in the same context of wrath and I sorta start leaning one way, but Im not sure, or might not want to say, but it does speak of the same upon all of the proud, and theres being clothed with Christ (humility) and then theres the strange apparel, and various other things I am considering. I cannot say I have any real clarity on it yet, still waiting on it. Because theres the possessing your souls in your patience, and there is the word of My patience, and yet at the same time tribulation worketh patience (we have need of) but theres an hour of it he will keep you from, and that is pulled right after those who call themsleves Jews and making the same of the synagauge of Satan.

Yes, our house (come upon "you") in a certain hour (it speaks, agreed). And thats exactly what verse come to mind too as He comes as a thief, and then there is THE thief, where Jesus come that they might have life, even his words are spirit and life ( He says, abide in me and my words "in you") and the thief come to steal (kill) and destroy (to the contrary) who abides not in the truth

Then he says (likewise)

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

And we know...

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

So in my head (spinning) I got two thiefs somewhat (one, He who comes as) and the other one (just is one) I have my lords goods, to gaurd (and show stewardship) I am to watch for Him (and yet watch out) for the other, I take would take it inwardly, but the defining of it escapes me.

So we have tribulation worketh patience (keeping the word of My patience) just as there is patient continuance, and keeping you from a specific hour, and two hours are present (an hour you are not aware) which apparently means me, because I dont know how to paper out these hours (either) and will **refrain again** from animated images....it does get easier...

That's about all I had, there just seemed to be a connection between the day of the Lord, and then the wrath and then the hour of temptation.

But I had a thought. Before Jesus was crucified he proclaimed his hour had come, and in the garden he also kept telling his disciples to watch.

To me the Lord was symbolizing something there because at the same time He also said lest you fall into temptation. (hour of temptation)

Maybe its just me but there seems to be sign in there somewhere? But I tend to think that way, and I know not everyone does.

Sometimes it reminds me of something like this, but because it doesnt speak to the hour (but a little moment) and in respects to wrath the land is darkned (being hid) because in the same wrath, no man will spare his brother, so I have considered this (even as we arent appointed to it)

Paul says...

Romans 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Whereas here...

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Isaiah 26:21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Just as here...

Zep 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Then here (contrary to meekness) pride and the strife

Psalms 31:20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Whereas here (again)....
